Kade POV

I curled up in the soft satin sheets and the soft comforter that was hanging loosely over my body. Have you ever had one of those moments in the mornings where it's perfect? Like you have the perfect amount of warmth, your laying in the perfect position. Me laying on my stomach and my arms wrapped tightly around my big fluffy pillow but the rest of my body was spread out on the soft mattress. The black lace curtains blocked out any trace of sunlight and it was the right amount of quiet. Maybe a few footsteps here and there but it was all peace and quiet. I was just so comfortable. I could tell you why I was having this moment of perfectness. It's because in about 5 seconds, Chris will be coming in to wa-

"Kade get your ass up! It's time for school!" I heard Chris shout through the door. I groaned before letting out a whine of pure frustration. I was extremely tired since I was up last night with Ghost. We watched a horror film and I was too terrified to go to sleep. So I stayed up until the exhaustion eventually got me and I fell asleep. Which was about 4 hours ago. That's not gonna work for me. I can't function correctly on four hours of sleep.

"No!" I shouted back at him before burying my face deep into my big pillow, hoping he would go away. I curled up more and closed my eyes, attempting to go back to sleep.

"Kade if your ass is not up in 5 fucking minutes I will come in there and make you regret life!" Chris growled through the door before I heard his retreating footsteps go down the hallway. I whined again before slipping out of bed and crawling into the hardwood floor. I rolled on my back and laid there for a second. I was really tired and I felt as if I was gonna fall asleep right on this floor. But a Chris in the morning with no coffee was terrifying so I had a dilemma. Stay here and sleep but risk being killed or get up and sulk.

"4 minutes!!" I heard him shout from down the hallway. How the fuck did he know I wasn't up yet?? Creepy. With another whine of defeat, I picked myself up off the floor and padded off to my bathroom. I peeled my worn clothes off and let them fall to the floor before walking over and turning the shower on.

Not wanting to end up falling asleep in the shower from the warm water, I washed my body quickly before shampooing and conditioning my hair thoroughly. After I was done, I turned the shower off and wrapped a towel around my waist and walking out to my room. Dropping my towel, I slipped a pair of clean boxers on before towel drying myself to my standards. I decided on just a pair of black skinny jeans and a black band shirt. I pulled my jeans on and shirt before sitting down to pull my socks on, followed by my black and white converse. It's a black day for me. I grabbed my bookbag, cellphone and headphones before turning my bedside lamp off. I exited my bedroom and made my way downstairs.

I entered the kitchen where Chris, Angelo and surprisingly Austin was sitting. There was a black coffee mug in Chris's hand and I thanked my lucky stars I could go another day without being yelled at in the mornings. I looked and saw that they were looking at a map with a stack of papers on the side. My curiosity peaked and I opened my mouth without thinking.

"What are you doing?" I asked, coming up behind Austin. Austin turned and smiled at me before turning back to the map. His smile is killer dude. Chris was pointed at places on the map and talking so quickly that I could barely understand him.

"Chris" I said again but he didn't look up at me.

"Get your breakfast Kade. We're leaving in a few minutes" He spoke distractedly.

"Are you looking for Oli?" I asked before looking over Austin's tall figure and peaking at the map. It looked like a map of the entire city of Crisly.

"Kade will you just eat" Chris said in a irritable tone.

"Because if you are I can he-"

"Dammit Kade!" Chris snapped and slammed his hands on the table, making all of us flinch. I stared at him in just a little shock. I put my hands up in defense and backed away from him.
