Sonic and Miles had landed in a place filled with water and both proceeded to move along this mysterious place. Sonic was about to drown, until he found an air bubble. They fought another one of Robotnik's robots, and destroyed it. They were sent downward and had to run from a wall that was going to inevitably crush them if they weren't moving fast. Luckily, they outran this wall and proceeded. Sonic and Miles had encountered Robotnik again, and the water being pulled up was pulling Sonic in to get himself hurt. Luckily, he destroyed this machine and soon afterwards, the water sent him up high. He would end up in a strange garden place.
