Sonic and Miles had stopped at the carnival, they thought everything would be fine. They saw the badniks in the way and still got through it. They defeated yet another of Robotnik's robots. It went fine after that until Knuckles had returned to mess with their progress! The carnival was now flooded! That didn't deter them, though. They moved along until encountering Knuckles in the carnival again. Knuckles had pressed a button to blow Sonic and Miles up, which allowed the two to fight Robotnik and they destroyed his machine. The two went in the cannon to be launched into a cold mountain.
