-Sebastian's POV-

I stepped out from the bathroom after a warm shower, wrapping a towel around my waist.

A blonde was sitting casually on the bed with her long tanned legs crossed over each other. I was watching her looking at my bare chest then down to the white cloth covering me half of me. She bit her lip at the sight and finally  she settled her gaze to mine, her eyes looked lustful and hungry.

"Elaine." I spoke. "I didn't summon you here." I said while grabbing another towel from the drawer to dry my wet hair.

"A little wolf told me you've been rejected by your mate." she said from behind. Of course, news had already spread around my pack and I was pretty damn sure it was Malcolm.

Right after my mate left, the other scouts came from the forest reporting to me they saw two rogue wolves yet they failed to chase them, since they quietly ran past them especially a white wolf whose fur glistened as it went off with an undeniable speed.

Malcolm, without even thinking, told them they weren't rogues but one of them was my mate, my mate who rejected me. I almost placed the silver collar back around his neck for telling other people the humiliation of my rejection.

Now everyone in the packhouse pity me, the Alpha with the strongest and largest pack, was rejected by his own mate.

I returned to reality when I sensed Elaine approaching  from behind , the smell of her lavender perfume was getting stronger with each passing second as she got closer. But it wasn't the particular scent that I was looking for.

"You know.." She trailed off,  her warm hands slowly wrapped around my body and settled on my chest.

She put her chin on my shoulder and I felt her lips behind my ear, her hot breath against my skin.

"I can be your mate." She whispered, then placing small kisses on my back.

"I can be better than her." She spoke each word in between kisses.

"I can be your Luna."

I instinctively spun around and gripped her hand, removing it from my body. She looked at me, her emotions unwavering as I detached myself from her, stepping away from this woman who isn't my mate.

"I'm not asking you to be my Luna." I said, my eyes narrowing.

She took her hand away and stared at me, while in my periphery rubbing her wrist. She was searching for something on my face, trying to analyze me. Then her eyebrows furrowed as if she realized something.

"You're really trying to pursue her, huh?" She scoffed, with a offended look on her face.

"How can you not accept the fact that she doesn't want you, and I'm here-"

"This isn't your business to discuss, now LEAVE." I growled.

She winced at the tone of my voice. Her expression changed from hurt to anger. Her eyes turned into slits and she glared at me with resentment. She backed away and turned around, stomping away and leaving the room, slamming the door shut.

I don't want a petty problem when there's a big important one infront of me.

I sighed in frustration.
