Chapter one

"Take her to the washroom" the big husky man pulled me really hard by the chains they had put on me to the place they called a washroom I've been there before, too many times I hate it there you only get a bucket to wash yourself, no soap, no rag. Nothing you get nothing but a bucket of ice cold water.

My name is clarisa I'm a pet all my life have been going to auction where they bid on you like your nothing. Vampires would come into a room where 10 girls go up on stage and wait for someone to bid on them. They have big on me before but I would usually run away to try and be free but in a world like this no human can be free but still I run it gives me the little chance of being free.

It's like a candle one minute your running and the flame is still blazing inside of you the adrenaline you get from running is amazing but the minute they catch you that flame is out.

"Your time is up" you get 2 minutes to take a bath for water alone to take a bath that's enough time but for a real bath that I dream about it would take a hour for me to come out. I hurriedly take up the cloth they called clothes and got out of the room I could see other girls getting out of there washroom.

I had a friend once we were really close but when she got bid on we heard that her owner had killed her most of us was really scared, that's why when there's on auction most of girls try to pretend sick because a vampire hates a useless pet but that only work for some of us and when I say some I mean me didn't work for me, they knew the reputation I had so they never believe the stunts I pull.

I started walking straight to the make up room where they try to hide your bruised so that you can look pretty and they can bid on you. After my make up they gave me this dress which barely covered your legs. We heard the signal that means that it's time to line up on stage.

I got to the line and we all stepped out on the stage my heart was beating really fast you could see the hunger in there eyes those little perverts are disgusting, the third girl got bid on and was taken to the room where you must wait for your new owner, I was the fifth girl, I was hoping that nobody would bid on me but today was not my lucky day, is any day my lucky day probably the one where I got to eat.

I was pulled of stage to the room where I should wait and see my new owner, while I was waiting i got really anxious where I started to bite my nails I do that when I'm very nervous.

Suddenly I hear the door open where I looked up and saw the most ravishing vampire I have ever seen, vampires are known for there charming looks and evil heart but I've never seen a vampire this handsome before.

"Hi, I'm your new owner my name is Shawn but you will call me master if you try to escape or talk back to me you will be punished whatever I say goes, and also when I'm speaking you must stand is that clear?" He said in all one breath, I quickly stand not to upset him.

"Yes master" he nodded and put my collar on where he held me the arm and walked me to the most beautiful car I've ever seen, he got in the back and told the driver to take him home.

When we got there I was met with this beautiful mansion if I wasn't a pet I would surely explore he started walking to the front door, I followed him because I don't know where I'm going. We entered his home which was spectacular he signalled one of is maid which looked very unhealthy but beautiful.

" This is my new pet take her to my room, make sure she gets a bath and a new set of clothing." She took me up this long staircase and the very first door we entered his room it's very big and beautiful It had the could of pure white.

"My name is angel the bathroom is to the right take a bath and I will lay out the clothes that you must wear when your done come down for dinner." She said, before she could leave I stopped her.

"My name is clarisa, and your name suits you" she smiled, she's very pretty, I wanted to make a friend so that I won't be lonely in this big place.

"What's Shawn like?" She looked to the door before talking Probably because she's really scared he will catch us.

"He's not that bad he can be very kind at times but it's best if you don't get on his wrong side, his father is the real evil one Lord Joseph, if you say anything that he does not like he will kill you." She said I decided to ask another question.

"Does Shawn tolerates how is father treats people" she shook her head.

"They don't really have a good relationship none of his children really likes him, they say he's too heartless I'm sorry but I have to go before someone catches us." She said literally running out of the room.

I went to the bathroom I started to the shower where I got in it felt really good I started to lather my body with the soap it was nice for a change to not only bathe with water , cold water for that matter.

I was so into the shower where I almost forgot about the things that Angel had told me, I feel I'm going to have many miserable times to come
