Chapter 6

Clarisa P.O.V

I was so busy reading the book that I forgot that I had to get ready for the party, I quickly took a bath and into the closet I found the red dress that I was dying to wear and also my matching red heels.

The dress was literally perfect it showed your curves and it was above my knee, I was so excited for the party that I almost forgot about my makeup I applied a little not too much because I'm no makeup expert I also decided to curl my hair and allowed them to bounce on my back. I might be a pet but a girl still need to look good I put on my heels and walked out of the room.

I didn't realize that Shawn was on the room my heels clicked together as I walk so that made him turn around to look at me, his mouth was literally wide open. "Close your mouth you'll catch flies" I said smirking.
"You look stunning" he stated with a small smile. I said a little thank you but then I realized he was struggling with his tie .

"Let me help you" I said walking over to him, he looked at me for a second then nodded I started fixing the toe how I wanted it, I know how to do this because I watched many of my owners do it when they have an event of course they didn't want to take me because I was too filthy and I would pollute the air they said.
"There you go now you look handsome" I said, I noticed that he was smiling, then I registered what I just said, i looked down feeling a little shy.

"No need to be shy" he said using his hands to lift my chin up.
"I'm sorry but I need to put this on you" he said putting the collar around my neck I don't know if it was sadness in his voice or what.
"You must refer to me has master tonight" I nodded and turned to the mirror to take a last look at myself.

"No need you look perfect" he said while walking out of the room I followed after him to this big ass limo I got in before him and then him came in after.

While we were driving to the party I started getting nervous and that's where my bad habits came in I started chewing on my nails.
"Clarisa stop that" Shawn said I immediately stop but my nerves didn't stop I started to play with my fingers. "Your nervous why is that" Shawn said looking at me.

"I've never been to a party before or any event for that matter" I said looking out the window taking in the wind.
"Why?" He asked.
"My owners before you were ashamed to take me out said I was too filthy and I would pollute the air" I said looking at him he had this flicker of sadness in his eyes.

He took my hand and he kissed it I smiled he returned it with a bigger one. "Stay behind me at all times and do not stray" he stated with seriousness in his voice.
"Yes master" I said.
"Good girl" I smirked and looked out the window, soon the limo came to a stop he got out first and I went after.

When we entered, it was very crowded Shawn knew where he was going so I just followed like a lost dog, he stopped and talked to some of the vampires there and then on to the next one. I loved the music that was playing I slowly swayed to the tune.
"I can see you like the music" A vampire said to me I immediately stopped dancing.

"By all means continue you have very rhythmic hips" I smiled and said a small thank you Shawn looked a tiny bit angry, why would he be though.
"Will you excuse me" Shawn said grabbing me by the arm and leading me away from the group of vampires he was talking to.

Another vampire stopped him while he was walking this time a girl she was very beautiful, I could tell that man would fall at her feet.
"Hello Shawn" she said in a seductive voice. "Yes rosheida" Shawn said in a bored tone. I almost giggled but I had to help myself.
"I heard that you've gone weak for this thing" she said pointing at me.
"She's just a pet nothing more" Shawn said without even thinking.

Wow that hurt I thought he actually like me but why would he like he said I'm just a pet. I looked down the ground so that she couldn't see that what he said didn't affect me.
"Well is the little pet hurt" she said looking at me Shawn turned around with a face full of regret.

"Why would she be hurt, your nobody but a little piece of trash" I hear someone said behind me I looked around and saw Brian I smiled and thanking him with my eyes he smiled back he actually picked up for me something Shawn didn't do I love my big bro.

"Hey big bro" I said hugging him he laughed and twirled me around.
"Wait your doing him too such a whore" she said.

"Call her whore again and I will put my hands on you" she looked taken a back by Shawn's comment.
She hissed and left.
I didn't look at him because I didn't want to. "Clarisa I-" he started to say I stopped by holding up my hand.
"No need your my master you can say anything you like" I said politely

"Hey sis" Lydia came up behind me she saw that I wasn't in the mood.
"What's wrong" Lydia asked.
"Nothing I'm just a little tired" I said
"You wanna go" Shawn asked I nodded and walked behind him to the limo I said bye to Brian and Lydia before leaving also did Shawn he gave his sister a kiss on her cheek and hugged his brother you could see he loved them.

The car ride back to the house was silent has the car stopped I hurriedly got out and went up to the room I changed into my night wear and before I could go to my bed I heard the door open I saw Shawn come in with a plate of food.
"Come let's eat" he said, I didn't look at him I just kept on rolling my hair in a bun.

"Clarisa I'm so-" I stopped him right there.
"No need to apologize I'm just a pet remember nothing more" I said repeating what he said to me earlier he looked regretful of what he said.

"Clarisa I'm really sorry I only said that because I was a little angry" he said.
"Why were you angry" he shook his head and walked to the bathroom I recalled back at the party and remember what happened before he said what he said, then it hit me he was angry because that vampire complimented my hips and I blushed just a little, he was jealous. I started to smirk.

I saw the plate of food and started to share my part and his part he came out and found me eating he smiled.
"Come let's share" I said with a no emotion face even though I wanted to smile.

He sat beside me and started eating.
"Broccoli shawn" I said, he made a pout and started eating it.

"Do I really have to" he whined like a baby, I took it up with my fork and gave it to him.
He ate without no complaints.
"I'm really sorry about what i said your more than a pet" he said still eating.

"I forgive you" i stated.
