El's POV:
Mike, Adley, Sunny, and I are sitting in the field behind our house as we watch the sunset.
Sunshine is looking at the sunset with the biggest amount of wonder in her eyes.
"Momma?", Sunshine asks.
"Yes, Baby?", I ask.
"Why does the sun leave?", She asks. Her eyes still on the sunset.
"The sun actually stays in the same place. We're then ones that are moving.", I say to her.
"How?", Adley chimes in.
"Well, the earth is spinning and it's tilted. The earth spins once and that's where days come from. When the earth spins half of the earth covers the other half and leaves it without any light, which we call night.", Mike answers.
"Cool!", Sunshine and Adley say at the exact same time.
We watch the rest of the sunset and Mike and I carry the girls into the house to give them baths and get them ready for bed. "Goodnight, sweets.", I say giving each of them a hug and a kiss on the forehead. I exit as Mike says goodnight to them.
"Hi.", I say as Mike enters the living room.
"Hi.", Mike says.
"How was work today?", I ask him.
"Normal. How was school?", He asks.
"Good. I'm so tired.", I say.
"I know. Me too.", He says cuddling close to me.
We go to bed after ten minutes of just sitting there in a comfortable silence.
The next morning...
I wake up at 7 am. I get myself ready before I wake up the girls and Mike.
"Mike, time to get up.", As soon as I say that he's up like a piece of freshly toasted toast in a toaster.
I go get the girls as Mike showers. We get the twins ready to go to Dustin and Suzie's. We get in the car and drop the girls off and go to school.
Well, that was something. Btw, Mike is studying science in college and El is studying psychology. They both have part time jobs.
