"Okay, so we'll have the wedding in the backyard of your parents' house?", El asks her fiancé.
"Yeah, sounds good.", Mike says, too calmly for his fiancée's liking.
"Mike...", The brunette whines in annoyance at her love's ability to be calm.
"El. All I care about is that we get married. But, I do think my parents' house is a good place to have the wedding.", Mike says, placing his hand on top of hers trying to reassure the woman sitting beside him.
She sighs looking down at the binder in front of her on the table.
"You're right. I've got to stop stressing about this. We've got the majority of it planned anyways.", She says looking into his dark eyes.
"I love you.", He says, staring into her honey orbs.
"I love you too.", She says.
"How about I just run through the list, and you tell me if we've decided on it and what we decided?", He says, trying to make this whole ordeal easier on his bride.
"Okay.", She says, handing him the list of what they need.
"Date?"
"June 18th."
"Venue?"
"Your parents'."
"Colors?"
"Yellow and purple.", She says, starting to calm down.
"Buffet or planned meals?"
"Buffet. And we've already hired a caterer. "
"DJ or live band."
"Live band. Already been booked."
"Cake, cupcakes, or both? And what flavor?"
"Cake for us and the girls, cupcakes for everyone else. Chocolate and lemon."
"Flower arrangements?"
"Yellow and purple, 70/30."
"I picked out my tux. Do you have your dress picked out?"
"No. I don't even have my bridesmaids' dresses picked.", panic rushes to the woman.
"It's okay, we still have a couple months. Speaking of bridesmaids, maid of honor and bridesmaids?", He says trying to calm her nerves.
"Max is my maid of honor. Nancy, Suzie, Holly are my bridesmaids."
"I have 3 best men, Lucas, Will, and Dustin. My other groomsman is Jonathan. What about the bar?"
"We went for expensive on that one."
"That's it. That's all we have to do.", Mike says grinning.
"So, all I have to get is my dresses.", El says relieved.
"Yup, and we aren't having a honeymoon, just a week where the girls are staying with your parents.", He says.
"Speaking of, they should be home soon. We have to get these invites in the mail.", She says, handing him the stack of cards and envelopes.
"You stay here and wait for them. I'll run them to the post office.", Mike says, kissing her forehead and standing up to grab his keys.
Mike leaves and Hopper drops off the girls.
