The brunette's eyes snap open. Her daughters jumped on her and woke her up out of her slumber.
"Sunny! Ads! I told you two not to wake her up!", Max says, holding Athena.
"It's alright Max. Goodmorning sweets.", The brunette says.
"Morning Momma. Auntie Max made us breakfast, we didn't want to eat without you.", Sunshine says, attacking her mother in a hug.
"Alright, alright. I'm up.", El says, hugging her daughter back.
The woman gets up from the bed of the guest room. She holds her arms up in the air and streches.
"Come on Momma! Auntie Max said you gotta come eat or you will be late!", Adley says, pulling her mom's arm.
"Okay, okay. I'm coming, I'm coming.", El laughs.
They walk to the kitchen. A plate of Eggos waits for her. She flops down in her chair next to Max and begins eating.
Six hours later in Nancy's bedroom of the Wheeler residence...
"Can you zip me up Nance?", The brunette asks her soon to be sister-in-law.
The thin woman zips the brunette's dress. El walks over to the full length mirror. A smile creeps onto her face.
"Pretty.", She whispers to herself and closed her eyes.
"Beautiful.", The raven haired boy said, a shy smile plastered on his face. She sighed happily at the memory.
"You look lovely, El.", Nancy says.
"So pretty.", Holly chimes in.
"You look gorgeous, Ellie.", Max says.
"You really do. I love your dress.", Suzie says.
Knock knock knock
"Parents of the groom entering.", Karen says slipping through the door with Ted.
"Wow. You look absolutely stunning, El.", Karen says, when she sees the girl.
"Yeah, you look great.", Ted says in his usual monotone voice.
"Thank you.", The brunette says going in for a hug. They gladly accept.
"Well, we have to go see Mike and I think Joyce and Hopper want in so, I'll see you in a little bit. Again, you look absolutely beautiful.", Karen says, clumsily exiting the room, letting the bride's parents in.
"Oh my goodness, El! You look wonderful!", Joyce exclaims.
Hopper stays silent, a light smile stuck on his face. Everyone looks at him expectantly and Joyce nudges his arm, knocking him out of his daze.
"You look beautiful.", Hopper says, the girl smiles wider.
She goes in for a hug, they accept.
"The girls are with Mike right?", El asks, her eyes widening at her remembering she has kids.
"Yes, yes. They're fine. They're ready to do this actually. Mike is too, everyone is, in fact. Are you guys ready?", Joyce asks reassuringly.
"Uh, uh, yeah, yeah, just- just need my shoes.", The girl says, looking to the redhead that holds her shoes and bouquet.
"Here.", The redhead says. El looks at her in appreciation.
"You look nervous. Are you okay?", Suzie points out.
"Y-yeah, I'm j-just uh, I don't know.", El says, her breathing becoming more shallow.
"Hey, hey, it's okay. Do you want us to do anything?", Nancy asks.
