Bitter Sweet

Chapter 2

Erin's POV

Weekend.

I was nervous and a few minute later I'll become somebody's wife. My parents has come to Thailand to celebrate this beautiful wedding. When I walked to the altar with my dad, I saw my husband's back and I just fell in love by seeing that. Once I stand the altar with him, I tried to smiled at him but he just don't even want to look at me. But his best man was smiling at me and I smiled him back. I guess that is his best friend.

After the wedding vow and exchanged the rings. 'You may kiss the bride' said the pastor and I am nervous when Tay's face become closer and kissed my forehead. Everyone applaud and wish congratulation to us.

Wedding Reception at night.

I was talking with my friends. 'Did you talk to him?' Angel asked. 'No, he just keep quiet' I sighed. 'I think this is not a good start for my marriage, and I think he still with Jess because I heard he call her'. I replied. Bright just looked at me with sorrow ' I am sorry Erin, this is not what you want'. I smiled at him, 'its ok Bright, one day, I'll find someone that love me even he's not my husband'. Suddenly, Dad Mew and Papa Gulf tried to get attention from us and made a speech. 'Today is wonderful day for my son Tay and his wife, Erin. I wish both of you will be happy and love each other till the end'. My eyes teary after listen to his speech because I know Tay and me would not gonna love each other. This is so disappointing for both family. They wish we will be happy but the truth is not going to happen.

Suddenly, the best man walk towards us while smiling. Angel just shake my hands because of her excitement saw someone who is handsome and also a model. 'Hi Erin, I'm Arm, Tay's best friend. Nice to meet you'. I smiled and shook his hand and I feel electric. What was that and I immediately let go his hand. Bright and Angel introduced themselves to Arm. 'So all of you are studying at the university?. 'Yes' three of us respond at the same time and he just giggled at us. 'All the best to all of you and I should go to Tay'. He smiled at me and said 'see you later'.

Tay's POV

I don't know what to feel when I hear my dad's speech. I know they want the best for me but can't I decide my own life. They even know I have Jess but why they keep forced me into this marriage with the girl that i don't even know. I looked at her with her friends, she looked kind of happy in this marriage which makes me mad because she got what her want but not what i want. She destroyed my life and I swear I'm not gonna make her happy with this marriage.

'Tay, I know that look. Don't even'. Arm approached me and looked at Erin. 'She just destroyed my life Arm, she wanted this' Arm just shaking his head while looking at Tay. 'Try to know her Tay, who knew she's probably the best for you' Arm try to assured him. 'Never Arm, she's not.'

Arm's POV

When Tay's said that Erin might not be the best wife. I feel angry at him. How could he said like that when he doesn't even know her yet. I feel sorry to Erin that she have to live with Tay's wrath. I just hope she will find happiness while I looked at her with her friends.

Erin's POV

After the reception, Tay and me drove to our condo. Since I'm married, I have to move in with him. 'This wedding is private, don't let the public knows' Tay suddenly said this. 'I understand and what about you and Jess?' I replied with curiosity. 'My relationship is none of your business, your life is none of my business. we're only married on the paper. If you have a boyfriend, you can still having relationship with him because I don't care'. I winced at his words. So this is it, married couple who is cheating on each other if I found the person i love. But i want to try to love Tay even i know it's impossible.

Once we're arrived at condo. I was shocked with Jess who is already inside the condo. She smiled at me and said 'oh you're Erin and you look familiar. I'm Jess, Tay's love'. I just shook her hands and then Tay hug her ' I miss you' while he kiss her infront of me. Don't you have respect to me as a wife? I just looked around the condo and Tay suddenly said ' That's your room, my room is opposite yours so don't ever come inside'. Then he took Jess to his room. So this is what happened to my first night. My husband with her girlfriend while me alone in the room. My eyes become teary and I try to get some sleep as I have to go to faculty tomorrow.
