3rd POV
Erin reunited with her best friends for lunch. There were so many things happened in 3 years. Bright work at his dad company in Bangkok and engaged to Win. Yes, they are engaged last year. Meanwhile, Angel work as junior economist in one of banks in Bangkok.
'Guys, I met Tay at the conference' Erin decided to talk.
Angel suddenly choking hearing Tay name meanwhile Bright immediately stopped eating.
'did you two talk?' Bright asked.
'no, but we talked when I was at papa mansion. He told me the truth about Jess and asked for forgiveness'
'Serve him right Erin, he should believed you at the first place' Angel replied.
Erin agreed with Angel but she afraid that she makes a mistake to let Tay persue her.
'But Angel, i give him a chance to pursue me again' both Angel and Bright shake their heads listening to my decision.
'Erin, why would you do that? What if the same mistake happen again?' said Bright.
'because i still love him Bright, but i'll make it harder for him to pursue me. Let us see his effort' Erin smirked at Bright.
'ohlalalala, you got an evil plan Erin?' Angel seem liking the idea. 'I do' replied Erin. Bright just sighed listening to both of them.
Time skip 3 week later.
Pattaya
Erin's POV
I thought he said he want to pursue me but i didn't received anything from him even text, call etc.
What are you exactly planning Tay? Are you regret your decision?
I feel pain in my chest when realization hit me. I guess we'll never meant to be.
'Erin, we'll go to Bangkok tomorrow because of the new project with Tay' Tul suddenly barge in my office.
'Do i have to go?' i sighed.
'Yes, you're our analyst, your opinion is matter'
'Fine'
Bangkok
We're sitting at tay's meeting room. I smiled and greet everyone in the room but Tay is still not there. I wonder why is he late for the meeting.
Suddenly the door open and Tay walks in. I try to relax because he look so hot when he's serious.
'I apologize for being late, let's start' he's avoiding me the whole meeting. It hurts me when he did that.
After the meeting.
Tul, Max and me walking to the elevator but then i realized i forgot ny phone at the meeting room.
'Tul, Max, wait for me at the lobby, i forgot my phone' they nodded
I walk toward the meeting room without knowing there's someone in the room.
The view literally shock me, Tay caress his secretary face and smile. Once they notice me, Tay pull his hand from her face.
'Sorry to interrupt, but i left my phone' i immediately take my phone and walk away. Tears started to form one i'm in elevator.
No wonder, he didn't make any move. He got himself a new girlfriend. I walk toward Tul and Max while crying. They're surprised and wonder what happened. I told them everything from the moment I met Tay at Dad's house and the confession.
Tay's POV
I started dating my secretary after I told the truth to Erin. I made this decision because I think we won't have chance to start over again, that's what she said before. She won't accept me again.
From that moment, i think i should let her go even i still have feeling for her.
When she saw me and May in the meeting room, i can see her shaking while taking her phone. I'm sorry Erin. Maybe it's for the best.
'let's go for lunch May' I hold her hand, trying to forget the incident that happened in the meeting room. May is the person that being patient with me whenever I'm stressed over work. I admired her a lot the moment she become my secretary but at that time, i only saw her as my employee. I decided to ask her to become my girlfriend and try to be in relationship after for so long.
3rd POV
Erin decided to go to the rooftop cafe at night, she's trying to forget the scene at the meeting room. Her tears started to fall remembering Tay's confession, his promise and everything he said to pursue her. She think it was her fault that Tay decided changed his mind, if she didn't said she won't accept him anymore. Things would changed again. This won't happened.But, she accept that this is their fate. They just didn't work out for some reasons.
Sometimes you need to let your loved one go if that's makes them happy.
