Chapter 28

Erin's POV

I facetimed my friends and invite them for a dinner. 'Yahh angel, bright, let's have dinner together. I'll cook for you guys' 'Erin, where do you stay? and why didn't contact us again huh'

'Sorry guys, i've been busy. it's Tay condo. I hope you remember and don't get lost' 'WHAT??!!' Bright yelled at me? 'why are you in his condo?are you back together again?' 'No, I'll tell you later ok'. 'See you at 8pm ok'

Dinner.

'Spill the tea' Angel said.

'ok, basically, Tul's company is Tay partner and they did a project together. I have to stay here to monitor the project. About this condo, that motherfucker Tul called Tay and asked if there's place for me to stay. Apparently, Tay moved out from here after we divorced. The End' 

'So what about Tay, is he ok with all this?' suddenly Bright voice his concerned. 'he move on Bright. He has a girlfriend already so he's totally ok with that' Angel choking 'Wait what? i thought he said he'll pursue you?'. I nodded 'yes he told me that but I guess he changed his mind. Why would he come back to me again, he can start over with new girl' I chuckled and they looked at me with sad eyes.

'stop looking at me like that' we laughed. 'Did P'Arm knows you're back?' Angel asked me. 'P'Arm is at abroad for some project. He'll be back soon' I replied.

'Don't worry Erin, you'll find your love sooner'. Bright smiled at me. 'ohlalalala Bright, you're being cheesy HAAHAHA' Angel teasing him. '

The next morning.

I walk to the office lobby and every staff seems flustered and I ask the reception. 'is there any occasion today? why everyone looked nervous?' 'Oh Mr. Mew and his wife will come here today. I guess there'll be meeting with Mr. Tay about the recent project'

I smiled 'oh ok. Thank you. btw, don't looked too nervous, they're really kind' I walk away and the staff looked at me weirdly.

I'm on my way to my room and saw May busy organizing documents at the meeting room.

'Need some help?' I asked her. 'Ahh Erin, if you're not busy' She smiled. 'ok tell me what to do'

I help her put every documents she prepared in on the table in meeting rooms then went back to my office. After 30 minutes, I heard a noise that coming to from meeting room. Since I'm representative of Tul's company, i have to present in the meeting but why May didn't called me. I guess the meeting already started. I walk out from my office and stop in front meeting room. i don't know why i feel so nervous. I can hear laughter inside. I knocked and open the door and May looked surprised and I just smiled. She seem had fun talking with papa. well, she's Tay girl friend.

'Erin' Papa and Dad stand up. I walk toward them and hugged them. Papa kissed my cheeks. 'The meeting already started, why are you late?' Dad whispered at me. 'No one tell me what time the meeting start, luckily i heard noises from meeting room' I replied him. Papa immediately look at May since she's Tay secretary. 'papa, stop looking at her. she maybe forgot telling me and nervous about this meeting'. Dad suddenly said 'Why are we whispering? everyone look at us weirdly. Act normal.' Papa and me nodded.

'Ok, we can continue the meeting. Tay continue with the progress' Dad continue sitting while me sitting between papa and May.

May seems uncomfortable the whole meeting. She must think I'm the one who ruined her conversation with papa earlier.

After the meeting.

'Mr Gulf, do you want to have lunch here? i'll order foods' May politely asked papa. 'Yes May, we'll having lunch here' May immediately order foods meanwhile papa and dad waiting at my office. 

'Erin, have you forgot us? why dont call us?' Dad asked. 'no i'm not dad, in fact i'm planning to visit you this weekend' I smiled and assured him. 'oh Erin, i miss you. Did Tay treat you good?' Papa asked and hold my hands. 'We're keeping it professional papa, he move on already. you already met his girlfriend' 'What?' his eyes widened. Oh damn. I spilled the tea. It should be Tay introduced May to them not me.

I smiled and worried that Tay might mad at me. 'Who is it Erin?' It was dad turn to asked. 'May. she's nice girl papa, dad. You should get to know her' Papa leaned back at the chair 'no wonder she seem friendly and started the conversation with me'.

There's knocking on my door. Apparently it's May bringing foods for us. 'this your lunch Mr Mew and Mr Gulf' she smiled. 'What about Erin's food?' Papa asked. I shook with the question. 'Papa, I made my own lunch'. 'oh ok. Thanks May' Papa looked at me. Tay barged in my room 'Papa, Dad, you guys having lunch without me?' 'you big boy, you can have lunch by yourself' Dad replied.

I chuckled and looked at May. I bet she felt left out so I asked her to join us. 'May, you can join us for lunch' she smiled 'Really?' I nodded and Papa give me hawk eyes. All of us lunch together suddenly papa asked me 'when are you going back to Pattaya Erin?' 'i'm not going back to Pattaya' May and Tay looked at me and curious what does it mean.

'I'll settled down in NY with my family after this project ends. I spent too much in Thailand. Time to go back' I smiled without looking at them. 'so it means you'll not coming back to Thailand?' Dad asked. 'I will but not frequently' Papa looked at me with tears. 'Papa, don't cry. i'll visit you again'. Tay still looked at me with his unexplained expression.

Tay's POV

Once papa and dad went home. I asked May to go outside as I want to talk with Erin in private.

'Are you serious with NY?' she looked up and smiled 'Yes Tay, i think it's time for me settled down'
'you're always leaving. Don't you think you're selfish. Run away from problem and maybe your feelings'

She seems furious at my statement.
'i'm selfish? Fuck Tay. My parents are there. I consider their feelings too, i bet they want their daughter to come back after all these years. Fyi, i don't have problem to makes me leaving Thailand' she continued 'we shouldn't discuss this, we're nothing. Past is past' she then looked at the Bangkok's view at huge glass wall.

How am i supposed to react, i have this possessive feeling towards her even she's not mine anymore.

'you should go Tay, May will be suspicious if you're here too long'

I walked to her and pulled her to kiss the lips that i've been longing. I can feel she stiff with my action. But i continued to invade her mouth. I gripped her hair and she moaned. That was the moment i slipped my tongue in her. I loved when she give up and kissed me back.

After our kiss, i saw her panting face and swollen lips. I missed looking her this closely. She opened her eyes and tried to push me.

'This is wrong Tay, we can't do this. You're in relationship. Don't be a cheater' she wiped her lips.

'Erin, i'm sorry but i can't help it. I missed you'

'you said i'm selfish but in fact you are. You did this to May and me. Stop it Tay. You have to let one of us go, let me go. What we had was the best memories but we're not fated together, go and make new memories with May' she looked away

She continued ' i waited for you in pattaya Tay, you said you will pursue me but instead you with your new girlfriend. From that moment i accept that we're not belong together. I let you go with someone new and try to move on'

I realized that was my mistake to begin with. 'why don't you're the one pursue me Erin? It needs two people to make it works. Don't you want me Erin? Don't you want us become family again? I moved on because you said you won't accept me again'

She sighed 'i've said that because i want to see your effort. Why are we discussing this? You should go Tay, be happy with May. She seem nice and perfect for family'

'if i let May go, if i choose you. Do we still have a chance again?'
'i can't say that, but maybe if our feelings mutual, we can try again, we can't deny our feelings. But i hope you think this through Tay. Are you sure you want to let May go? She seems perfect for you'

I can't reply her but instead storm out from her room.
