2 weeks later in Pattaya.
Erin's POV
'Grandpa, this is the order for Table 3' I placed the order paper at the kitchen counter. My grandpa run a seafood restaurant, I decided to helped them since one of the workers resigned. It was tiring but really worth it because I can spend my time with them. I haven't met them for so long and they didn't come to my wedding because they are mad with my parents regarding my arranged marriage. They opposed the idea but my parents said it was a promise between two old friends.
Flashback
'Grandma!' I hugged her once I arrived at their house. 'Erin! it's been a long time. Finally you can spend time with us' I kissed her cheek and brought my luggage into the house. They live alone at Pattaya after my aunt and cousins move to Surat Thani. Thank God, they're still healthy and now I'm here accompany them. After dinner, we watched some Thai drama in the living room. I decided telling my grandparents about my divorce. 'I'm divorce granny' both eyes looked at me. I continued to tell what happened in my marriage. 'He doesn't deserve you Erin, you will meet someone better than him' my grandma try to calm me as my eyes teary. 'Now you're single and can enjoy be in relationship with anyone you want' grandpa tried to makes me laughed. Grandma hit him 'aiya, she just divorce and you want her to be in relationship so fast'.
Back to the restaurant.
It was 11pm, time to clean and closed the restaurant. I'm impressed that the restaurant full with customers every night. I wiped all the table and organized the chair meanwhile the other workers sweeping the floors and clean the kitchen. Once we're done, we walked to the car, the situation Pattaya at night is the best. Listen to the ocean waves really calm people who are eating at our restaurant. I drove to the house and it only takes about 10 minutes. This is my routine in Pattaya and I can't complaint it because I love being with my grandparents and new city.
3rd POV
Erin and her grandma went to the wet market to buy all the ingredients for the restaurant. 'Erin, you look beautiful today. Buy this tomato, I give you cheap price' one of the aunt try to sell her tomato. Erin chuckled 'Aunty, you praised me because you want me to buy me tomato?' 'Aiya Erin, you look beautiful always' She smiled at Erin. 'Alright, give me 1kg of tomato. Thank you aunty, see you later' Erin walked with her grandma and they stopped at small food stall for breakfast. 'Grandma, after I send you to home. I want to buy skincare at mall can i?' Grandma giggled, 'Ofc you can Erin. spend some time for yourself won't hurt you? you already done so many things with us. It's time for you to explore this city'. Erin hugged her happily.
At the mall.
Erin strolled around the mall but she stopped at famous retail clothing store because she saw Tay's photo promoting the brand. Immediately, she felt pain in her chest. She's not gonna lie that she doesn't miss her ex-husband. The thought of divorce made her eyes teary until she surprised that the worker of the store approach her. 'May I help you miss?' the worker smiled at Erin. 'It's alright. Thank you' she walk away from the store and buy her skincare.
Tay's POV
I've been busy with Jess and her appointment with the clinic. Today would be the same, we'll go to the clinic for the check up. Since Erin left, we always buy foods for dinner and Jess said she's lazy to cook. Well, maybe she's tired because of her pregnancy. I just smiled at her when she said that, I don't want to make her stress especially it could affect my baby. Sometimes I would check my phone in case Erin message or call me. I know it's not gonna happened but I honestly miss her, I miss her warm body besides me. Most of the nights, I would asked my myself whether my decision divorcing her is my mistake or did she really want to kill my baby. But, the medical results shows otherwise. I know Jess wouldn't do that because if she do, she knows she would lose me. I gripped my hair shows that I really frustrated 'Erin, I don't know anymore what to do. I loved you but why did you do that' I almost cried thinking of her whereabout, is she safe?
At some point, I'm afraid that the truth is she's innocent and my lost to let her go. I want to investigate this matter but I don't know where to start. Oh God, show me your sign, guide me in this matters.
Pattaya.
Erin' POV
As usual, grandpa's restaurant is full with the customers at night. The sounds of customers talking filled the restaurant. Watching them enjoyed the dishes made me happy and knowing that my grandpa is the best cook. When we're nearly close the restaurant, I saw one guy talking to my grandma at the cashier counter with his back facing me. He looks familiar but I ignore him and help other workers to close the restaurant. While we're on our way back home, I asked my grandma about the other guy. 'Granny, who was the guy talking to you just now?' 'He said he's your friend and probably your future husband' she winked and I made surprise face. No one knew I am here at Pattaya except Bright and Angel.
When we're arrived our house, I saw some lighting in the house. 'Granny, did we forgot to switch off the lights?' I hurried to the house and stare the person inside 'P'Arm!' I ran towards him and hug him. How did he knew that I'm here.
