"And this is the camera room." Gary says as he turns the doorknob to the camera room. He opens the door and reveals a room full of monitors. We take a step in together. Gary moves closer to the chair in front of the desk "I wonder where Kurt is..."
I close the door and take out my dagger. I strike him in his back, making him drop to the ground. I kick him to the side and give all my focus to the monitors, looking around for Karen Wilson, since I saw a picture of her.
I scan through the screens. I spot Karen on screen '14D7T'.
"Why's the number so... Confusing? These people are idiots here..." I stand up straight and squint my eyes and see the room and floor numbers 'Room: 14D Floor: 7T'.
With the computer in front of me, I send a message to every contact, saying that they should leave the building for a fire drill in five minutes.
I leave the room after throwing Gary through a portal which leads to Craig's office, just to tease him.
I close the door and turn around, accidentally bumping into someone I had no idea I'd see here.
"(y/n)?!" Beth shouts, completely confused. I shove my hand over her mouth.
"Beth? What the fuck are you doing here?" I yell-whisper at Beth, who's looking confused.
"I work here..." she whispers back "Why're you here?"
"Wrong hospital?"
"Juliana? You wanted to see Karen, right?" I blush, damn it, turn around and see my 'coworker', Lynn.
"Yeah. Where is she?" I ask as I walk up to Lynn. He smirks, laying a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey, Beth? You're needed with Charlie." Lynn states before making his hand travel to my other shoulder "You're a very beautiful lady, you know that?"
"Being beautiful never got me far in life, Lynn. It only gave me depression and anxiety." I sigh, shaking my head, playing along with my act "I-I think we should go to Karen now..."
"Sure..." with his arm over my shoulders, he walks me to the very room I've been wanting to go to. We stop in front of the door, Lynn spins me around to face him.
His expression softens once our eyes meet.
"Hey, Juliana..." I raise my eyebrows, staring up at him "Sorry about my comment earlier... You really are beautiful and you shouldn't be ashamed of it or whatever you're thinking... Look, I--" not allowing Lynn to continue, I place a finger to his lips.
"Sh... It's fine... But thanks... You're a great guy, Lynn... I admire that." I face the door again. I open and close it, leaving Lynn outside with light pink cheeks.
I spot someone hunched over a sink, washing their hands or something.
"Hi, um, are you Karen?" I ask, tilting my head slightly. The person turns around. She has lime colored eyes with strawberry blonde hair which is tied up in a bun with bangs hanging over her forehead.
"That's me... Who are you?" Karen asks with her hands in the air, not wanting to make droplets of water drop onto the ground. She walks over to a different table.
I chuckle and see a camera in the corner. I shoot a Lazer at it with my watch, making it drop with some sparks flying off it.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" I say as I lock the door.
"Yeah. That's why I asked..." Karen states, sounding quite annoyed.
"May I ask you a question?" I ask, slowly walking to the windows. I close all the curtains.
