I crack my eyes open and see that Rick isn't there anymore. I take a deep breath before I sit up straight, stretching my arms. I get out of bed, walking towards my bathroom door.
I brush my teeth and comb my hair. I wash my face and put on my gown. Tying my belt, I walk downstairs. I stop at the bottom of the stairs once I've heard giggling coming from the kitchen.
I narrow my eyes and pull out my gun. I slowly make my way to the kitchen, being as cautious as can be. I jump in and point my gun at the first person I find, sitting right in front of Venus.
"M-morn(burp)ing to you too, (y/n)." my eyes widen, lowering my gun.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know it was you..." Rick shrugs and lifts up a Venus's spoon, which has her porridge on it, and hovers it on front of her mouth.
"Hurry, Venus! Open up the garage! Here comes the spaceship!" Rick 'panics'. Venus opens her mouth, allowing Rick to put the spoon in her mouth. She closes her mouth, scooping the food of the spoon.
Rick pulls the spoon out of her mouth and dishes more on her spoon. I giggle at Rick. It's so adorable to me.
"Rick, you do know she can eat on her own, right?" Rick glances at me with a sigh.
"Sh-she di(burp)dn't want to eat unless I f-fed her." I nod and walk to the fridge "I-I made you some scram(burp)bled eggs. It's in the microwave."
"Oh, thanks. How nice of you..." I take out my eggs after heating it up slightly. I put some bread in the toaster and turn it on. I lean against the counter as I eat my breakfast.
"Ar-aren't y(burp)ou gonna sit down?" I shrug, just as the house phone starts ringing. I place my plate on the counter and walk over to it. I take it off the wall.
"Hello?"
"Hey, (y/n)." Craig greets with enthusiasm. I slightly smile, leaning against the wall.
"What's up?" Craig sighs.
"I just wanted to check it... H-how'd it go with your friend?" I hum.
"Well, she said I can't talk or be near her family anymore..."
"Fuck. I'm so sorry... Sh-should I go over there and wipe her memory or-or something?" I sadly giggle.
"No need... So, he moved in yesterday." I glance at Rick, who's still playing with Venus and making her laugh. Most of the time, Rick isn't a softy and doesn't even care... But when he's 'soft', it's quite refreshing.
"Daaaamn. You gonna fuck him?" I giggle.
"Maybe." Craig and I start laughing.
"Oo! Remember to make it memorable!" I snort, leaning forward and clutching my stomach.
"Duuuuude!" I clear my throat and stabilize my breathing, laughing softly "Good idea."
Craig laughs, sounding a bit distant, like he took the phone away from his face. I look at Rick only to find him staring at me with a smile on hie face, but immediately gives his attention to Venus when he sees me looking back.
"Yeah... Um, so, I gotta go..."
"Ok. Great talking to ya, (l/n)." Craig states before ending the call. I put the phone back and clap my hands.
