(morning)

"Rise and shine, sweet cheeks!" someone yells and rips the blankets off me "Don't make me wake you." I groan softly, opening my eyes.

I look the guy up and down. Uniform, brown hair, purple eyes. I inhale sharply, sitting up slowly.

"Good morning." I smile slightly at the guy who just rolls his eyes. I drop my feet over the edge of the bed, stretching my arms awkwardly, since I have cuffs on "What time is it?" I ask with a yawn.

"It's time for breakfast. Get your ass out of bed." he hisses at me. I sigh and get off my bed, out of my blankets.

"Why're you people so rude to me? All I wanted to do was have a normal life... You're being so mean, yet you don't understand why I left..." I say softly, playing apart of my act. I look down at the ground, forcing my eyes to water "I just wanna have a normal life like you do..."

"I know... I was told to since you only learn through rage or something." I hum in response, shaking my head slowly.

"Just because you're told to do so, doesn't mean it'll work." i state, holding out my wrists "And this is even more rude. Forcing me to wear something so fowl like this? Not fine with me..."

The guy sighs and takes out keys, unlocking my cuffs. They fall to the ground, revealing my red wrists. I look up at the guy with a small smile.

"Thank you. I'll spare you your life, darling." his eyes widen, making me giggle "I'm just kidding. Crazy person joke, am I right?"

"Just go to the cafeteria."

Rick's P. O. V.

I shove some of my blue shirts and lab coats into a roller bag, along with a few pairs of pants, socks and underwear.

I pull out my diary--journal!! My journal... I pull out my journal, feeling a little lost in memory. I open it, paging through most of the pages... Until... 'New neighbor'...

A diary entry--I mean note! A note I made about how I feel about (y/n), our neighbor, when she first moved to Seattle.

'Some lady moved in today with her husband or something. Seems like she has kids, but she's probably just wanted some.

Her and the guy seem happy, well, until I heard a loud shriek coming from their house. I wanted to check it out, but it was probably nothing.

So far, she hasn't really spoken to any of us or even acknowledged our presence. She seems cool, I mean, she didn't even annoy me or give me a reason to hate her. Well, not yet, actually.

Jerry and Beth said they were excited to meet them, but i told them to stay away, since they don't give a shit, why should we?

Plus, they seem like shit-headed bitches.'

"Feels like forever since I first saw you... I keep finding myself tripping for you... And... Eventually, I just fell face first into love... We might not know a lot about that, but I mean... We've got each other..." I mumble under my breath, closing the journal.

Someone knocks on my door. I walk over to it and open it. Beth stands there with tears in her eyes.

"You sure you wanna leave?" she asks, sniffing silently. I sigh, placing my hands on her shoulders.

"It'll just be for a-a we(burp)ek or two." I try reassuring Beth, but it doesn't work, it just makes her cry and she looks down.

"But why leave? She's gone, dad, you barely even care for her." Beth looks up at me, her eyes widen slightly "Right?"
