I looked around the corner, two guards blocked 059's door. An alarm went off, signaling that I was missing. "Attention all staff. SCP-700 has escaped containment, all higher class evacuate to the top level." I hid around the corner, the guards ran past me missing me by a few inches. I quickly ducked into the hallway and sprinted to the door. A key code locked the door. I cussed under my breath, then an idea popped into my head. I placed my hands on the door and closed my eyes, I took a deep breath. In one quick motion I ripped the door off the wall. "059!" I sprinted into the room, 059 was sitting on the ground playing with her teddy bear. I ran over and hugged her, she returned the hug and tightly rapped her arms around my neck. "You came back!" I loosened my grip and back up a little. "I told you I would." She smiled. "Listen, I'm leaving this place." Her smile vanished. "Are you saying goodbye?" Tears began to form in her eyes. I grabbed her hand. "That depends. Do you wanna come with me?" A shocked expression came over her face. "I was told to never leave." I placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "All that can change. I have a home, a family, you can be part of that." She looked down at her teddy bear, she thought to herself. Suddenly she raised her head and met my eyes, a smile danced on her lips. "Let's go." I stood up and sprinted over to the exit I had made. I peeked my head out and saw a guard slowly walking down the hall. I pulled my head back before he could see me. "Crap." I muttered. "What's wrong? Am I not going to be able to leave?" I looked down at 059 and shook my head. "You will, but there's a guard. Stay here while I deal with him." She grabbed my wrist and shook her head. "I got this." Before I could protest, she stepped out into the hallway hiding her face from the guard. "Stay where you are!" I watched her take a step, I heard the sound of a rifle being re loaded. "059!" I angrily whispered her numbers, but she ignored my distress. "I-I'm lost sir." She said in a weak voice. I could hear the mans heavy footsteps approach her slowly. I could see the guard now, his gun still pointed at her. I hid behind the wall making sure he didn't see me. "State your name." He didn't know. He had no idea who 059 was, or that she even was an SCP. He was mere inches from her. Suddenly she looked up, he jumped back and aimed his gun. She stared intensely at him. Then it hit me, any human that looks her in the eye dies. She stood there, waiting. Then I heard a grunting sound come from the man. Suddenly he attacked her, he hit her on the side of her face. "No!" I tackled the man. He tried to get out of my grip to attack her, he completely ignored me. He kicked me off him and jumped up, he raised his fist to hit her again. But he froze. It looked like he had turned to stone. He let out a gurgling sound and then collapsed onto the ground. I quickly stood up and ran over to 059. "Are you okay?" I asked while helping her sit up. A bruise that was on her cheek vanished right in front of me. "I'm fine." I looked back at the man, he was dead. "Come on, we gotta find an exit." She nodded and I helped her stand up. We sprinted to the end of the hall, no one was around. "Wait, the doctor!" I exclaimed. 059 looked up at me confused. "I know a doctor, he may know where the exit is." 059 reached up and grabbed my hand. "Lead the way." I nodded and we sprinted in a random direction. I was wishing that everything would go smoothly.
