Marinette's POV

I pulled away from Adrien and wiped my tears off my cheek.

"Thank you Adrien..." I managed between sniffles.

"Anytime Princess."

I froze...'princess?' No one has ever called me that before....(in this story Adrien calls Marinette Princess first before Chat Noir...)

A comforting smile never left his face. It took me a second to comprehend what just happened, then I smiled back and attacked Adrien in another hug.

I didn't really know what was happening, but I liked it. I was glad to be his princess

Josh's POV

I glared down Adrien and Marinette, fitting together like a puzzle piece. That should be me!

After a couple days with Marinette, I began to pick up on her confidence, and her tendancy to bounce back. That's what made me realize my feelings for her.

I was never the best at expressing my feelings...

I picked myself off the ground and proceeded to approach Marinette and her new gaurd dog AGRESTE.

"Marinette, you will pay for this." I spat.

Marinette's POV

WHAT WAS FOR ME TO PAY FOR?! I DID NOTHING TO HIM!

"What could I possibly have done to owe YOU." I managed, my teeth gritting together.

I could feel Adrien tense up in my embrace. He pulled himself away from me and looked Josh straight in the eyes.

"Stay away from Marinette. She has done nothing to you to deserve this." Adrien seethed, trying his best to keep calm.

Josh rolled his eyes and fled back to his lunch table.

My eyes shifted to Adrien's, which were already set on me. I smiled and thanked him again.

After school, I felt the rain fall down on my face and bounce off my skin. It began to soak my hair and dampen my clothes. I slushed in the direction of my house, when Adrien stopped me.

"Oh hey Adrien." I beamed.

"H-hey Marinette. You looked cold so-uh-I...here" he said handing me the white jacket off his back.

I held it close to my body, "Won't your father be angry you-."

"I don't care about him, I just want to make sure you are alright." Adrien assured looking at the ground.

I slipped it on. It was huge on me, but nice and warm. "I have been saying this a lot lately...Thank you Adrien."

"Anytime Princess." He said, meeting my eyes again and then going to his house.

I melted just at the word he called me. I loved my new nickname

Josh's POV

I watched them angrily. Clearly, Adrien's gentlemanly methods were affecting Marinette in a positive way.

She was totally entranced with him. For God's sake I thought they were about to kiss!

Maybe it's time I changed my ways and came up with a plan. And with this plan, I WILL make Marinette mine. There is nothing Agreste can do about it.
