Marinette's POV

The whole next day of school I kept replaying the scene in my head. I cuddled with his jacket all night just obsessed over how I was his princess.

I was head over heels!

Lost in thought, I slammed into a random guy in the hallway.

"Sorry." I blurted. It was more of a reflex now since I was so clumsy.

Two strong arms pulled me up, "That's alright Mari! I got you,"

I narrowed my eyes. I know his voice.

"Josh?" I shrieked jerking out of his grasp.

"Don't worry Marinette, I don't bite." He said.

"Well you already bit me and the wound is still fresh. Leave me alone!" I yelled and stomped away. Wow I am so poetic

"Hey Mari." Adrien greeted my when I entered the classroom. He was the first one there so it was just us...alone.

"Hey A-Adrien."

I was excited for more alone time with Adrien, but Josh came waltzing in right behind me.

I thought I caught the two boys glaring at each other, but it was probably my imagination.

Josh put his hand on my shoulder, "So, princess." I cringed as soon as he touched me. And the way he said Princess sent a chill down my spine.

"Uh...so...please don't call me that." I managed shuffling away from him.

Adrien's POV

Oh my God! Clearly PRINCESS was MY name for her!! What a jerk. This guy has some nerve treating her like this.

She sat down in her seat, and Josh slid down next to her. I took all the self control I had not to punch Josh in the face.

Marinette scootched away. "Relax! I told you I don't bite " he leaned closer.

THATS THE LAST STRAW.

I got up and slammed my fist on the desk, making Josh jump like a little baby on Halloween.

"I do." I growled, glaring at him.

My gaze shifted to Marinette breifly, and I caught her mouthing 'thank you' to me.

The bell rang, cutting the tension and forcing me to return to my seat.

All I could think about was Marinette...I think Im catching feelings and I have to do something about it.
