The wrong path

Matteo

I woke up to Matteo tapping my arm. "We're in New Orleans get dressed" he said. "Okay" I said. I took a quick shower then put on jeans and my pink tank top with my white air forces. I put my hair in a pony tail then brushed my teeth. "Are you ready" Matteo asked from outside the bathroom. "Yes" I said then opened the door. He kept eye contact and he seemed stressed. We walked off the boat and I realized we were docked at the same boat launch my dad and I used to go fishing at. A car picked us up and I asked "where's Michelle". "Her and my father left early to do business" he said. "You could just say mafia shit" I said while looking out the window. "Mafia shit" he said with a laugh. We pulled up to my house and he said "Diego will keep watch on your house while you're here" he said then pointed to the driver. "You're not staying with me" I asked. "Do I need to" he asked. "No I guess not" I said. "He's trained for protect people it's not like I'm just leaving you with anyone" he said. "I'll be back tonight to pick up you" he said. "I thought I could stay here" I said. "No we're staying at my hotel and you can come back in the morning" he said. "Okay" I said then got out the car. I knocked on the door and my mom answered it. "Daisy" she yelled then pulled me inside. "Where the hell have you been" she yelled. "I got a job offer in Hawaii" I said. "What" my dad said while walking out the room. "A modeling job in Hawaii I left to go there as soon as I got the offer" I said. "Daisy you can not move to Hawaii" my mom said. "Why not I'm 18 and this is what I want" I said. "You've never said anything about modeling" my mom said. "I've been trying to get into it for months now I just never said anything" I said. "Daisy" my dad said. "This is what I want" I said. They looked at each other and after 2 more hours of talking they finally decided that it's my life and I need to live it. I started packing my bags then we ate dinner. We watched 2 of the Harry Potter movies then my mom said "its getting late and we have work tomorrow" my dad said. "Okay I'm staying at a hotel tonight anyways" I said. "Why not just stay here" my mom asked. "My modeling agency is paying for it" I said. "I'm coming back tomorrow to get the rest of my stuff but I have to leave before noon" I said. "So we won't get to say goodbye" my dad said. "We have to say bye tonight" I said. We said our goodbyes then I went to my room to finish packing. I was almost finished when I heard a knock on the door. My heart started racing. I grabbed the door handle and swung it open. It was Lucas. "Lucas" I said. "Daisy" he said sounding relived. "What are you doing here it's almost midnight". "Where did you go everyone was worried" he said. "Well after I found out you were a cheating prick I went for a walk and I got a call from a modeling agency and they gave me a job in Hawaii so I took it" I said. "So your moving to Hawaii" he asked. "Yeah but I don't know for how long" I said. "Daisy I'm so sorry" he said. "Yeah me too" I said. "Daisy look I messed up but I love you so much please don't leave me" he begged. "You broke my heart" I said feeling tears coming. "I know I'm so sorry" he said then moved closer. "Please don't go" he begged. "I have to" I said. "Well at least stay in contact with me" he said. "Okay" I said. "Maybe time apart is what we need so when you come back we'll be stronger" he said. "I love you Daisy" he said. "I" started to say but then someone spoke. "Daisy it's time to go" Matteo said from behind Lucas. We both looked at him. Something in he couldn't tell Lucas I loved him in front of Matteo it just felt weird. Lucas looked confused so I said "he's part of the modeling agency". "Oh" was all he said. "Just think about what I said okay" he said. "I love you" he said then kissed me on the cheek. He walked away then I looked at my house. "You won't be able to come back tomorrow so we have to get everything tonight" he said. "Of course" I said. Matteo and Diego got all my stuff then put it into the car. I looked at my house one last time then got into the car. The ride was silent. When we got to the hostel I followed Matteo into our room. He had one and so did I. Michelle had her own separate room and so did matteos dad. We had a nice kitchen and a few bathrooms.I went into my room and began sobbing. Maybe because I have a hit out on me. Maybe because my heart is confused. Maybe because I don't know when I'll see my parents again. I kept sobbing then Matteo cane into the room. "Daisy don't cry" he said then sat next to me. I said nothing and kept crying. Matteo put his arm around me then hugged me. I hugged him back and kept crying. I don't know how long I cried before I fell asleep.

When I woke up Matteo was gone. I looked in his room but he was gone. I got dressed then waited. Eventually Michelle cane to my room and asked if I had anything I needed to do today. I told her I needed to quit my job and tell sherry bye. We got a car and went to sherry's house. I knocked on the door and sherry yelled "where the hell have you been". I told her my whole modeling story and she said "you at least could have picked up the phone" she said. "I know I'm sorry" I said. I told Sherry to tell Kay and she agreed. After a little while of talking I told her I had to go. We said our goodbyes then I got back in the car with Michelle. "Where's Matteo" I asked. "I'm not sure" she said.

Matteos point of view (Earlier)
I heard her crying so I walked in her room. She was laying in the bed crying. I know this isn't what she wants. I'm not a soft person but I know she needs someone. I hugged her and she hugged me back. After sometime she fell asleep. I stayed with her for a while but I had to leave. She's 18. She's 18. Daisy is 18 and I'm 25 about to be 26. I snuck out the room and saw Michelle in the kitchen. I sighed. "What's wrong" she asked. "Nothing" I said. "What did you finally realize it" she asked. "What the hell are you talking about" I asked. "You finally realized you like the 18 year old" she said. "I do not" I said. "Really" she asked. "I don't like Daisy" I said. "Whatever you say brother" she responded. "How about you just keep that big mouth shut" I snapped. "You're just mad because Daisy won't open her mouth for you" she said with a laugh. "Whatever Michelle" I said while rolling my eyes. She walked off and left me to my thoughts. I don't like Daisy. I know what I need to do.

Daisys point of view
Michelle and I got back to the hotel and everything seemed normal. I need to ask Matteo when I'm getting my phone back. I looked around but I couldn't find him. The last place to look is his room. I opened the door only to see Matteo on top of some random girl. Our eyes met and he tensed up. I shut the door quickly then went to my room. Michelle came in the room then came me my phone back. I thanked her and I started reading all the messages from Lucas. I really think he is sorry and yeah what he did is messed up but I love him and I think I can forgive him. So I texted him. At first it was friendly then we started talking about missing each other. We texted for the rest of the night then I went to sleep.

The next morning Michelle woke me up and said we were going back on the boat. I asked where all my other stuff is at and she said on the boat. I got dressed then packed all my things. Right as I walked out the room I saw Matteo. "Hey" he said but I ignored him and I continued to ignore him for the rest of our time at the hotel.
