The wrong path

College

Kay told me I could start working on Wensday. I needed to be at work by 4 so I woke up at 2 to make sure I looked my best. I showered then did light makeup then curled my hair. I put on a black dress and black flats. I put my name tag on perfectly then grabbed my purse. I got in my car then drove to Blonsha. It was already packed. I parked my car then walked in the back. "Hey Daisy" Kay said as soon as I walked in the door. "Hi" I said nervously. "We're pretty packed" Kay said with a smile. "Yeah" I said. "Daisy you worked at a food place before you'll be fine just take the orders and come back here then tell the cooks" Kay said then handed me a pen and notepad. "I think you should come with me" I said. "You'll be fine it's not like you're new to this plus I'll be at the table right next to you" she said. I sighed then followed her. She told me to go to a table that had 5 people at it. I took a deep breath and walked up to the table. "Hi I'm Daisy I'll be your waitress for tonight can I get your drinks" I said. "Pepsi" a man with a think accident said he was dressed extremely nice and he looked to be at least 55 . "3 iced teas" a lady said. She had long blonde hair and was wearing a blue dress. "I'll just have a water" another man said. He had a thick Italian accident as well. He was dressed just like the older man. They had 2 other men at the table but they didn't speak. Once I had their drinks I brought them back to the table. They all ordered Steaks and side salads. While I was waiting for their food to be cooked I noticed the youngest looking man out of all was gone. Eventually I got their food and brought it back to the table. This was going pretty good. I haven't noticed but the place was clearing out. I looked at my phone and it was already 8:30. The people I talked to first were long gone. After I took 3 more orders Blonsha was finally closing. The last few people finished eating then I started helping Kay clean up. "Well how was it" she asked. "I love working here" I said. Once I was done cleaning I walked to my car. I called Lucas and told him all about my first day. "I'm so happy for you Daisy" he said. "I love you" I said. "I love you too Daisy" he said. We talked for the rest of the drive home. When I got home I told my parents all about my first day. "We have a surprise for you" my dad said. "What is it" I asked. My mom handed me a brochure and I looked at it confused. Its for a resort in Florida. "You didn't" I said with a smile. "It's a 7 day trip" my mom said. "You guys didn't have to do this" I said. "You graduated it's your graduation present" my dad said. "Everything's already paid for so all you have to do is pack and go" my mom said. "Thank you guys so much" I said while hugging them and the best part is Lucas, Sherry and sherry's boyfriend Josh are all coming. Since Kay knew about the trip she already had my work schedule planned out. We're leaving in two days. After I showered I went straight to sleep. The next two days were spent packing and prepping for the trip.

Today's the day we leave. Sherry and josh are taking her car and Lucas and I are taking mine. I took a shower and made myself some coffee. Once it was time to leave I told my parents bye then picked up Lucas. It was a 4 hour drive. The first hour was spent listing to music then for the rest of it we talked. "This is going to be so much fun" Lucas said. "I know plus we get some alone time" I said with a smile. Lucas and I have been planning on having sex but it was never the right time. Something was always in the way. But I knew we're going to do it on this trip. We all have separate room so it'll be easy. After hours of driving we finally made it to our hotel. We got our stuff then went to our room. It was really nice. It had a queen sized bed and two dressers. The bathroom had a huge tub and a big mirror. "It's so nice" I said. Lucas kissed me softly. "What was that for" I asked. "Because I love you" he said with a smile. Sherry came to our room then said "come on let's go to the pool". We agreed then we got dressed. I put on my yellow two piece then went to sherry's room. She was wearing a pink one piece and Josh had a blue swim shorts. Lucas had to answer a call from his mom so he said he would come right after. The 3 of us were swimming for about 10 minutes then finally Lucas came out. He was wearing red swim shorts. "Look who finally showed up" I said then kissed him as he got into the pool. We swam and talked for the rest of the night. We didn't go to sleep until about 5 AM so no wonder no one woke up until noon.

Once everyone was up and dressed we decided to go to the beach. Sherry and Josh were swimming and Lucas and I were sitting on a blanket. "I wish we could live like this everyday" he said. "I know it makes me feel much more free" I said. "Hey you never told me how that college was that you went to last week" I said. "Oh Um it wasn't really anything special"he said. "Really I thought you liked it the first day you were having so much fun" I said. Lucas went on a trip to this college that lasted 3 days and at first he told me he loved it then he started getting all weird about it. Before I could say anything else about it his phone rang. "Oh um I gotta take this" he said then got up. I sat up then noticed a guy standing a few feet away. I couldn't see him good but as soon as I looked at him he turned away. Well that's odd. I was feeling weird so I decided to go swimming with Josh and sherry. "He's acting weird" I said. "Maybe he's just stressed" josh said. "Or maybe he's worried that once he goes to college things will change" sherry said. "I hope one of you are right" I said. Once the sun started going down we all headed back to our rooms to shower. I showered then it was Lucas turn. I put on black leggings with my butterfly tank top. I was brushing my hair when Lucas phone started ringing. I looked at the number but it was unknown. "Hello" I said. But then the person hung up. I went to his messages just to see if he's ever talked to them before. He has. I clicked the messages and my heart stopped. The messages started the day he went to that college. I began crying while reading them. "When can I see you again". "Last night was so fun but I need to make sure my girlfriend doesn't find out". Were just a few of them. I put his phone down then put on my vans and a hoodie. Just as I was putting it on Lucas walked out the bathroom. "Daisy what's wrong" he asked. I looked at him but said nothing instead I walked to the door. "Daisy" he said. "Have fun at college Lucas" I said then walked out the door. I didn't know where I was going but I know I had to go somewhere else. I don't want to ruin sherry and Joshes trip so I can't stay with them. Just then I had an idea. The club that's next door.I'm not exactly in club attire but o well. I walked in and instantly it smelled like smoke and alcohol. I sat at the bar and looked around. Before I knew it this man sat next to me. He had to be at least 30 but hey I'm the one who came to a club. "Can I get you a drink" he asked. "Sure" I said. "I'm Leonardo" he said. "I'm daisy" I said. He ordered some type of drink for us. He was dressed in a blue shirt and jeans. Once the drink came I took a huge sip. "Wow" he said with a laugh. Before I knew it I was having several more drinks. "I think I need to leave" I said. "Do you want me to take you somewhere" he asked. "Could you take me to my hotel room" I asked. "Sure" he said with a smile. Everything in me was saying to just call Sherry but I was drunk and I couldn't see straight. We got up and walked out the club.

He put his hand on my back. Then turned so we were walking into the dark ally way between the club and the hotel. "What are you doing" I asked. "Shh it's okay" he said. "I should go" I said then I tried to walk away. He grabbed me by the shoulder then said "just calm down". He pushed me against the wall then tried to get my sweatshirt off. "No stop" I cried. "Just shut up" he yelled. He started pulling at it again as I cried harder then someone spoke "There are plenty of girls who you can do that with that aren't drunk and crying". "Well I want this one Matteo" leonardo snapped. "Leonardo get the fuck off her" he said. "It's not that big of a deal and if she says anything we can kill her" Leonardo said. "I'm not going to tell you again" Matteo said. Leonardo pulled away from me then said "You're really going to risk business with us over some slut at the bar" Leonardo asked. Matteo said nothing instead he just looked at him. "Okay well you just declared war" Leonardo said then walked off. Matteo helped me up then asked "are you okay"?. "Yeah I'm fine" I said. I looked at him closer and that's when I realized I knew him well I don't know him but I've seen him "I've seen you before" I said. That's when I realized he was the man on the beach. "You were on the beach looking at me" I said. He said nothing. "I suppose" he said. "Wait no I mean yeah but I've seen you somewhere else" I said. "No I don't think so" Matteo said. "Blonsha" I said. He looked at me but said nothing. "I was your waitress" I said. "I suppose" he said. "Why why why" I started stuttering. "I'm going to pass out" I said

That's the last thing I remember saying before everything went dark.
