I don't care if I'm part of the water tribe. I've been staring at the water for hours. No pretty animals, no one trying to kill us, and no where I can safely train with my weapons. Just currently laying in the middle of the saddle when I heard my brother speak up.

"You have no idea where you're going, do you?" I lift up my head to see the conversation unfold.

"Well...I know it's near water." Well damn this should be just easy. Already bored of this conversation I crawl over to the edge to practice my bending. I know we're further up but it helps me. I need to know how to control a large amount of water from a distance.

I'm out of the saddle and closer to Appas tail, with some rope around me so just in case I fall I won't fall far. I sit as close to the edge as possible to get a better feel of the water. I close my eyes and let my body lead. Swift movements of my wrist and will power I start to hear a sloshing sound. I know I'm doing something but I'm going to wait to open my eyes to see. Making bigger  but still graceful movements, I feel a sense of power tickling my skin. Now I open my eyes. I don't even have to look too far down to see what I did. A giant ball of water, about have the size of the ice berg Aang came out of was right in front of me. Still concentrating on the water, I feel someone sit next to me.

"Hey Kaia! Check out this airbending trick!" I can just barely see Aang holding his hands up with something dark in them. Too focused to turn away I give a response anyways.

"That's great Aang." I feel bad for sounding so dull and uninterested, but I'm trying to make the water ball even bigger.

"You didn't even look." Hearing the disappointment in his voice makes me feel even worse, breaking my concentration. The water falls apart and showers back into the sea. Turning to him so I can hopefully make this a little better.

"That's great!" With a small smile and a quick glance. But it didn't fix anything other than him saying that he'll show me later and walking up to Katara. Funny, and sad, enough she responds the same way I do. She's focused on not pricking her finger with the needle she's using to sew Sokkas pants. It looks like a huge whole split right on the backside. 'How the hell did split his pants like that? His ass isn't that big?" Thoughts are thrown out of the window when he decides to say something just a little too sexist for my taste.

"Stop bugging her airhead. You need to give girls space when they do their sewing." The comment made my sister and I snap our heads to him in irritation. "He did not just say that."

"What does me being a girl have to do with sewing?" Yeah Sokka? I'm getting even more pissed when he kicks back, seeing nothing wrong with what he said.

"Simple. Girls are better at fixing pants than guys, and guys are better at hunting and fighting and stuff like that. It's just the natural order of things." Thats it.

"Oh so you're telling me that guys are too stupid to figure out how to sew? And better at hunting and fighting? Says the guy that can't even catch a fish while I can do it so much faster. Without my bending. And I could take your ass in a fight on any given day. Blindfolded." He looks like he's going to retaliate with something stupid, since he knows it's true, until Katara smacks him with his unfinished pants.

"All done with your pants! And look what a great job I did!" Smirking and sitting next to me, returning my high five.

"Wait I was just kidding! I can't wear these! Katara please!" Snorting as he can stick his whole arm in the unfinished tear.

"It's okay Sokka, maybe since you're a big strong man, you can lend your brain some strength so you can figure out how to do it yourself." Once again, he's about to retaliate but this time Aang cuts him off.
