Epilogue

15 years later

A lot has changed and it is the year 2046.

Supergirl and Superman finally retired 3 years ago and got the chance to hang up their capes. Even Superdog retired, because a dog needs it's normal life too. Their superheroing days have come to an end.

Nia retired too, as Dreamer and let her daughter take the sword. Alex chose to retire as director, because her fighting days are over. J'onn stopped teaching combat, but still taught in the university. Brainy also retired from the DEO, since he himself noticed it was time.

Kara was still CEO and Lena too. Nia became head of the article designs. Alex and Kelly chose to travel around the globe and Brainy became a stay at home dad. Lois and Clark continued to work at the Daily Planet.

They knew it was time to let the new generation start their story. Kellan became director, right after his mother retired and is now 27 years old. Alexis became the head of the medical department in the DEO and was an agent at the same time, and is now 24. Jonathan worked as a architect, but was Superboy in secret and is now 27. Kai became an ace reporter in CatCo and Luna became a scientist in L-Corp, but secretly they were Power boy and Power girl, both were now 26 years old. Nura worked in the IT department of the DEO, but was at the same time 'Dream girl' and is now 22 years old.

Kara and Lena couldn't be more prouder at the twins. Over the years they have accomplished so much and have changed the world. Earth was starting to drift into peace, but of course enemies come and go. Nothing could stop the new generation of hero's.

Superboy, Power girl and Power boy  were called 'The Super's Legacies'. They worked together with the DEO and Dream girl. They were stronger together and nothing could bring their hope down. For them, everything was possible.

At CatCo

Kara was typing furiously on her laptop. But got interrupted by her son. "Hey Ieiu, I brought lunch." Kai said enthusiastically. "Thank you Kai, because I am starving." His mother said in a dramatic tone. The young Super was chuckling. "You even bought extra pack of Potsticker's. Wait is moma, Krypto and Luna coming here?" She asked and hugged her son. Kai nodded and right on time the elevator opened. "Hey love!" Lena said and kissed her wife. "Hey babe."

Krypto was jumping up and down, very happy to see food. "Well hello to you too buddy." The blonde said and pated him. "Hey little one. How was work?" Kara asked Luna and gave her a hug. "It was okay Ieiu, just that robot was pretty annoying." Luna said. They all started to eat and drifted into comfortable conversation's. "Have you seen your biography boards in the museum?" Lena asked the twins. Both of them nodded a no. "Well after work you should go see it." Kara said and gave them each a kiss on the forehead. They talked for a few and ate everything, making sure nothing was left behind.

But then both twins looked at each other. "Duty calls." They said in unison and ran off, to some place to get changed. The couple sighed. "I can't believe they are all grown up. Kai is engaged, Luna has a boyfriend that might do the same too. Rao, does time fly by that fast?" Kara asked and looked at Lena. the raven haired kissed her and said: "Honey that's life. I also can't believe they are all grown up, but we can't stop it. And yes time did fly by pretty fast." Kara leaned in for another kiss. "Well for us yes, but for other people not, since they think we were frozen in time, because we still look like in our mid twenties." Joked Kara. They just had to laugh at that comment. Almost nobody believed that Kara was 55 and Lena was 54. "Rao I am 55, that means actually 80 years old. Where are my grand kids?" Again joked Kara.

At the scene

While the couple was enjoying their time, their kids were fighting a mind controlled alien. "Power girl, the main source is about two kilometers away from you, hiding in city center." Nura said through the comms. "Got it." Luna said and flew to the place. She listens carefully for a abnormal heartbeat and found it rather quick. "Gotcha." She said and knocked the mind controlling alien out. DEO vans surrounded the sight and Kellan said: "Good job Power girl and boy. We will take it from here." He said in his director voice. Then Kai came to him and asked: "Are you still on for Game night?" Teased Kai.The director chuckled. "Of course I am. Should we meet at your place?" Kellan asked and Kai nodded. Both Super's flew into the sky and landed on an empty alley near the museum. "You ready?" Asked Luna. "Always." Kai said.

They both entered the building and ran straight to the biography section of the Super's. Both gasped when they saw their own boards. "Luna, last time we were here it wasn't even half full. Now it basically needs a second one." Kai said in disbelief. Luna was just gazing at it. "Yeah...did we really do that much?" Luna asked as she pushed up her glasses. "Well it looks like we did." Joked Kai.

"I told you guys." Kara said from behind. They both turned their heads to see their mother. "Ieiu, how long have you been here?" Luna asked. Kara was just chuckling. "I knew you guys would be here after the fight, so when I heard you were done, I flew here. Basically I was here the whole time." They all laughed, of course their mother knew them well. She then walk to them, grabbed their shoulder and looked at the board. "Remember that night when you guys couldn't sleep?" Kara asked them and both nodded. "You told each other your dreams and I listened to you guys." Again they nodded. "Well you have just accomplished two of your dreams." Kara smiled at them and gave them a bear hug. "You have become great hero's, in your job's and as a Super, have found pure and true love, just what's missing is your own family, but that will come another time." Kara said soothingly. Tears were flowing down their cheeks, not tears of sadness but tears of happiness. "Thank you Ieiu for reminding us everyday." Sniffed Kai out and hugged his mother tighter. Luna did the same, just not wanting to let go. "I love you." Kara said with pure love. "We love you too." The twins said in unison.

That day the twins knew, what their mother said was true. Dreams do come true with time and effort, and they held on to it. They all held on to it. Accomplishing your dreams is not an easy road, but life was never easy, it will never be easy. But seeing your dream come true, makes you feel complete.
