At unknown place

"Where am I?"

"You are in Rao's light my child."

"WHAT?! Oh Rao." Shouted the Super. "I...I can't believe it...It's you Rao and that I'm reunited with Krypton again."

"Calm down my child, now I understand why you are loved by everybody. You are very enthusiastic." Chuckled Rao.

"U-umm y-yeah...My family, my Earth family call me sometimes a dork." Said Kara showing her awkward self. Rao just chucked: "I know Kara Zor-El, your adoptive sister calls you that. She is right my child, but that's the way you bring light into people as Kara. I must say I am proud of you my child." Kara's jaw dropped. "Rao, you are proud of me? And you have been watching over me? I-I mean thank you, I feel honored."

"Yes my child, no need to look surprised. You have become a true hero. And I must say the monitor is right, despite all you have endured, you are really the Paragon of Hope. You have saved Earth multiple times to give the favor back to their people. I am proud of you Kara Zor-El." Answered Rao with truth in his voice. Tears were running down Kara's cheeks as she hugged Rao. "Thank you Rao, this means so much to me, really."

Rao hugged her back, he can't believe to have met a pure hearted Kyptonian in is eternity and here she is. A heart so pure, not even evil can bring it down. Hope so high, that her light is so bright, that darkness fades away. A true warrior, that a battle will never bring her down. He was so proud. "No need to cry my child, you have deserved it."

They released the hug and walked into a garden. There she saw her father and all of her ancestors, even uncle Jor-El. "Kara!" Said her father. In an instant she had turned her head. "Father! I can see you again." Happy tears filled her eyes. They ran to each other and hugged as if it was their last time. "My Kara, you are here. I have seen you on earth. Rao has told me everything and I can't be even more proud. Your mother was right, you heart is a true hero." She smiled so bright, she could have sworn it would blind people. "Father, I've missed you so much. It feels good to hug you again." They started to have a  tearful conversation, talking a little about how life has been on Earth for Kara and what she had to endure.

"My child, Kara, could you come with me?" Asked Rao. Kara wiped her tears away and replied with a smile: "Of course Rao."

As they walked through the garden, Rao spoke up: "My child, you are the first pure hearted Kryptonian I have met and I would like to honor you to become the goddess of hope. It is your decision, and I respect if you don't take it, but since I can feel your love and hope so pure. You have deserved it."

Kara just got lost. "A God? Oh Rao, but I would have a great responsibility. Do you really think it's okay, because I find it a bit too much. I have been called a God on Earth and it just didn't feel right...I like it more to be average and normal. Sometimes I have a feeling, when people call me a God, I-I just feel bad. It sounds wrong..." Kara was lost with her choice, a part pf her was honored, but the other part was having this feeling that being called a God is wrong. She doesn't know what to say, because she doesn't want to disappoint Rao.

"It is your decision my child. I will accept any answer you have and will give you as much time as you need. And you have basically fought a God, Doomsday, he's the beast that only God's can defeat but when I saw your last battle, he has lost the Dakam Or. I don't want to crown you goddess because of your fighting skills, I want to crown you as goddess because of what's inside you...Your pure heart. I will give you time, if you have your answer just come to the temple, my child, I will wait." Said Rao softly. "Thank you Rao...Thank you for giving me time." With that Kara went back to her family.

2 days later

"Inah, it is your choice if you want to become a goddess. Rao trusts you enough that you will not abuse it's power, but whatever choice you make  I will support it." Said Zor-El. "Thank you father, but I think I have made my decision." Kara said confidence in her voice doing her signature Supergirl stand.

Zor-El answered, with a soft smile: "Well what are you waiting for? Go Kara..."

With that Kara ran through the gardens and into the temple, where Rao was waiting for her. "Rao, I have made my decision." She said a little out of breath. "Kara, I am ready whatever your answer is." Answered Rao calmly. Kata stood i the middle in the temple, revising if she is 100% sure of her choice. Taking a deep breath, she finally announced her answer: "I accept that I will become the goddess of hope. I promise to use it for good and not abuse it."

Rao smiled softly: "Well then my child, come here." Kara was brought into a room that looked  like a study. "My child, you have to speak the sacred oath and feel the sensation of hope in you. Like that, you will become the goddess of hope."

The Super took seat on the floor and started to speak the sacred oath. She did what she had to do, hope. She hoped that she can return to everybody and live a life the love of her life, Lena. She hoped to eat Potstickers again. She hoped to become a reporter again. She hoped that she will be back home, on Earth...

She felt power rushing through her. A feeling she can't describe and most importantly, hope. As she opened her eyes she was in a white dress, with a unknown crest on it, but on her wrist was her family crest carved...It felt magical, powerful.

Finally Rao spoke: "Welcome Kara Zor-El Danvers, champion of Earth, Supergirl, Paragon of Hope and goddess of hope."  She smiled at him and thanked him, feeling absolutely honored. She had promised not to abuse it, and will keep it till eternity.

Weeks have passed and Kara had enjoyed to have the power to look on Earth. She mostly watched her family and friends, but one night she completely changed her mind...She missed her home dearly, that her heart started to ache.

"You remembered Kara and thank you for these beautiful Dar-Essa's."

She started to cry. Oh how much she missed Lena. She had always imagined her and Lena being married and having kids of their own, but sadly though she can't. She's dead and can only watch after them as a invisible spirit. She just wants to hug them all and tell them how sorry she was for leaving them...But she then had an idea, maybe she can go back...Maybe she can fulfill all of her wishes.

With that thought on her head, she went to see Rao.

"Oh Rao..." Said Kara sadly, running to the God. "Yes my child? I can see you have something in your mind." Answered Rao nicely. She was hesitating at first, but then she wanted to speak up till she was interrupted by Rao.

Rao said with a smile on his face and said: "I see you haven't fully lived your life and it pains you that your dreams haven't come true. That pure heart of yours is craving for that and that is what you need. I give you permission to go back to Earth, but you will still be the goddess of hope and will have new powers. Your older powers will intensify, so you must be careful." Kara had literal tears in her eyes, after hearing she could go home. "Oh Rao...Thank you so much! And  yes now I know, I must be more careful. But thank you Rao for giving me this opportunity." Said Kara in a bright smile full of appreciation, her happy tears leaving her ocean eyes.

"Now go my child, live your life to it's fullest. Marry the woman you love and be the hero you have always been. We will meet again, one day." Rao gently squeezed Kara's shoulder, giving her a smile that shows 'I'll be with you and support you through your life.'

With that Rao opened a door for her and she gave him a hug, before she entered. She looked down and saw Earth, her home and where the love of her life is. Finally she jumped down and was falling really fast into the Earth's atmosphere. She saw herself having a new suit, with both crest's on it. Her family crest on her chest and her God symbol on her left shoulder.

"Home here I come!"
