As soon as I stepped foot into the house I was in awe, the place was massive, every inch of it was immaculate and well designed. It had country flair yet was all don't with a modern flair. My step mother Lynette winked at my floored expression and ushered me up a large staircase

"This sugar plum is yours and Matilda's floor, this here is her room" she said waving to a bright pink closed door with a large 'Keep out, Princess sleeping" sign hanging from it. I snorted at the truth the sign was speaking. Next she opened a white heavy door and pulled me inside, flicking on the lights I gasped as my eyes adjusted

"And this is the room I designed for you" she smiled as I stood in surprise trying to take in what I was seeing. "I designed this room when we first moved here and each year I changed it to your tastes as your momma informed us, I always kept it ready for you" I felt a tinge of guilt creep in as I remember all the times I refused to spend my holidays here.

The room was at least twice the size of my one back home. Here I had my own king sized bed, desk and cute chair and even a 50" LCD TV that hung from the wall in front of the bed. The walls were pained a lovey off white with deep maroon skirtings and two white, almost see through, curtains billowed softly at the door that led onto a cute small but big enough balcony. It was the best room I had ever been able to call mine, even if it was only for a couple of months.

"So sweet, do you like?" she asked, alerting me to the fact she was still standing in the same spot I had left her before I wandered off to inspect the room.

"Like, oh my god Lynette, it's amazing" I gasped not bothering to hide the slight girly squeal in my voice,

Laughing Lynette smiled and walked back to the door

"Well sugar I am mighty proud you like it, but please don't call me Lynette, it makes me feel old so let's leave it at mummy two or Lyn ok?"

Nodding at her I smiled sweetly and as I looked back towards the door to say thanks again I smiled as I noticed I was now alone. Sitting on the big bed and kicking off my black flats I pulled out my phone, but why? It's not like I have anyone to call or text, for all I knew Sam had gotten my letter and thought I was a lying mole or she hadn't got the letter.

Sighing I just placed it on the bedside table and started to let the sleep I had been avoiding seep in.

"No please get off me, please I have a boyfriend"

"Well maybe he should learn to share" he murmured into my shoulder as his grip around my throat tightened leaving me unable to talk. He grinded his groin into me and I could feel the building pressure from his little friend, I screamed to myself silently, I was so scared

Tears flooded down my cheeks from the pain, humiliation and my desperation to get away from him

"No please, no don't, please don't, please...please...please" I tried in vain to dislodge him from me, but his weight wouldn't move

"Riley"

"NO go away, please don't, it hurts, stop no please don't please" I screamed as I was shaken awake, gathering my barring's I gasped in shock as the worried eyes of my dad and lyn pierced into mine, their lips were pulled tight and brows furrowed deeply with concern

"Riley dear, you are safe, you're ok" Lyn cooed trying to calm me

"He was here" I sobbed, I could still feel his touch, I could still smell him like he was in the room. Sweat moistened my shirt and my bed covers were all twisted and messed up from my apparent thrashing.

"Shhh no honey, its only your daddy and I" she whispered

"It's just us no one is here, you were dreamin' sugar plum"

"But it was so real, he was here and it was happening again, I could feel him" I cried as I trace my fingers around the part of my throat he had bruised

"God get a grip city" Tilly snapped from my doorway,

"Harden up and build a bridge, I need my sleep" she hissed before stalking away and slamming her bedroom door shut making me jump from the loud noise.

My blood boiled but I was too exhausted to retort so I shrank back into the bed and looked back at Lyn. Her face was one of hatred, disgust and pity. I hoped it wasn't me she was hating or disgusted in. softly she pulled back my blankets and crawled into the bed beside me, wrapping her long thin arms around mine she pulled me into her and sung sweetly one of my favourite songs to me until I fell asleep. I didn't even hear when my dad left the room.

In the morning I moaned as I stretched out in the huge bed and smiled to myself. Yes I still remembered what happened last night but after Lyn had sung me to sleep I had had the best sleep since everything had happened. After jumping out of bed and washing my face with cold water in my own bathroom, yes my own, how awesome is that, I walked out onto my balcony and leant against the railing admiring the view I had.

The green grass peaking through the layer of snow and tall trees seemed to go on forever and the soft rolling hills touched the sky sweetly, but the best view was the one of the barn. It was typical red ranch style barn, and the horses around it made me smile and my heart sing.

Lost in thought and bliss as I watched a pretty appaloosa mare and her spotty foal frolicking in the winter sun, I failed to notice a bright red ford truck pull up bellow my balcony.

"Chase BABY" I heard Tilly squeal in delight snapping me from my daydream and into reality. Looking below me I recognised Tilly dressed like a blonde skank in hardly there shorts and a crop top and ugg boots throwing herself over a guy that had just stepped away from the ford.

"Mornin' sugar" he replied as he stepped back in shock at the slut's assault. I could hardly stifle my laugh and as soon as it came out he snapped his head up and I swore under my breath as I recognised who it was.

"Hello there" he smirked holding his hand above his brow to block the sunlight and looking up at me.

"What a small world, fancy seeing you again so soon"

"Too soon if you ask me" I retorted with a scowl, I had been enjoying my morning until he turned up

"Oh come one don't be like that sugar" he smirked again

"Who ya talkin' too?" Tilly suddenly asked when she finally realised Chase wasn't paying her any attention"

"No-one doll" he replied to her with a wink and then looked back up at me. My scowl continued and huffing at his smug expression I pushed away from the railing and went back into my room.
