GIGI WAS NEVER ONE TO BE IGNORANT OR RUDE.

So whenever she saw a black beaded purse lying at the bottom of the bridge she had decided to see if it belonged to the woman who was leaning against the edge of it- looking like she was staring down into the water.

Gigi and Nicky had came back to their shared apartment  in LA for the next however many so months, This is where the two felt most comfortable and they had came back at Christmas so they could reside with their own respective families over the holidays, it worked out fantastically really.

Two days into stressful unpacking their suitcase, with Gigi almost shouting at everything Nicky did from just sheer stress. Nicky decided it would be best for Gigi to go out and take a breather, and she didn't take Gigi's refusal as a no, the girl pushed her out the front door of their modern apartment and told her to 'come back in three hours you uptight bitch!' and Gigi knew Nicky was serious- but she couldn't be mad at her sheerly because of the playful tone on the french girls lips as she said it to her.

Gigi went to the first place she could think of; the river.

Gigi didn't know that a bridge had been built over the river- whenever she first arrived at the small entryway she had almost dropped- it felt odd to see a place so dear to her, changed? She felt unease knowing that the place that held so many emotions and sacred memories had basically been taken away from her.

Her mind was too occupied by the new addition onto the landscape in front of her she didn't even notice Crystal, not that much people would notice her now, wearing modern clothes with her large, long brown curls going down to the middle of her back- she was the complete opposite of what she used to be.

Gigi wore black pants, a red shirt, one near the same colour as her long hair, and a black blazer, which made her feel hotter than she would of liked to be- temperature wise of course.

The small thud of her thick heel pranced against the base of the bridge, Crystals purse in hand as she walked up to the girl, only being able to see her large natural curls and her clothing. Her eyes glanced up and down her shorter figure briefly, swallowing thickly before speaking.

"Excuse me miss? You seemed to have dropped your purse at the front of the bridge.." Gigi mumbled softly, pushing her right hand which was holding the purse out in the girls direction.

The sky was darkening, it becoming that medium blue tone that it usually was around this time at winter- but that didn't stop either of them from recognising one another almost immediately.

Crystal felt like the air had been knocked out of her chest at the sheer sight of Gigi. And then it all came back, their memories, their kisses, their touches- what she did to Gigi and how fucking embarrassed she was that she ever let somebody feel like that.

Gigi didn't know what to say in all honesty. It was Crystal, yet it wasn't? Everything about her had changed, her makeup, her hair, her style and even the way she used to carry herself had changed. Now crystal stood their with such poise, her shoulders pushed back as they just started at one another in defeated silence.

Crystal was the first to speak up between the two, reaching out and taking her purse from the girls hands "thank you... Gigi?" Her tone was questioning, like she couldn't believe that this was real- all seven years of them not seeing one another and it gets wrecked because Crystal couldn't stop herself from having a fucking joint.

"It's been a while" Gigi replied, walking forward and leaning on the side of the bridge- just as Crystal was previously and looking down into the pale blue depths of the gushing stream.

The brunette breathed out slightly, a chuckle of disbelief leaving her lips "yeah... it has." She mumbled, using this time to really study Gigi.

She had obviously matured more now, not looking as juvenile as she did when she was 18, but now she looked like an adult. Her hair was cut up to her shoulders, completely red. Crystal somehow found pride in knowing that Gigi had dyed her hair a bright colour despite her Moms grief with the idea.

Gigi was still as gorgeous as she was seven years ago, if not- more.

Crystal sighed inwardly- mentally scolding herself for already finding her attractive. It's been less than five minutes and she is straight now anyway. Her being lesbian was just a phase.

"You dyed your hair.." Crystal spoke softly, she was scared that if she spoke any louder she would wake up and this would all be some weird tormenting dream.

"You look normal." Gigi replied back almost immediately, realising how monotone and rude that sounded before backtracking "less colourful, your hair isn't the way it used to be.." .

Crystals hands danced along the wooden barrier- protecting them from falling into the river as she chuckled slightly- Gigi's breath hitching in her throat as she did so "it's been seven years Gigi... I'm not gonna look the same forever." She tried to defend.

Gigi turned her head to look at Crystal and shook it briefly "no... no no. You don't look at Crystal at all. You look like... Margaret the Beverly Hills housewife now... it's just weird to see you in anything that isn't bright coloured." She admitted- and it was true.

She just didn't know how somebody could change so drastically in the space of seven years- it was quite a big time gap but every single little detail about the girl had changed, it left Gigi almost speechless.

A small sigh flew out of crystals lips as her cheeks grew pinker "well thanks for calling me bland Gigi..." she laughed softly. Crystal knew Gigi's words were not ill intended whatsoever, and after seven years Gigi still struggled with putting words together that made sense.

Crystal paused for a moment, trying to get her thoughts in order and preparing what to say to the girl next. "Gigi.. I'm really sorry y'know? For everything that happened... the way I treated you, you didn't deserve that." Crystal mumbled softly. She was truly being sincere, she meant every word.

Gigi's bright red acrylic nails slid against the wood once again as she breathed in deeply, inhaling the winter air as she closed her eyes for the briefest of seconds. "Seven years Crystal... I don't hold grudges. You were drunk- and I wasn't even your girlfriend." She admitted with an awkward chuckle, trying to hide the fact that almost every day for the past seven years she hasn't been with anybody.

Crystal nodded her head, not wanting to speak anymore on the subject, the tension was thick and the night sky was slowly growing darker as the silence between the two ticked on.

Crystal stood back from the fence, her eyes glancing down at her feet awkwardly as she coughed, her attempt to try and break the tension "well... I have to go... I promised dad I would have a game of monopoly with him before he went to bed." Her hands digging into her pockets as she spoke.

Gigi turned to face her almost immediately "w-wait... can we talk... like whenever you are free can we hangout and talk?" She asked, her tone was almost pleading- this was the second time in one night that Crystal had made direct eye contact with the girl and it felt just as surreal as it did all those years ago.

She wanted to say no, she was straight now and didn't want to risk any attachments, but the way Gigi's pleading eyes bored into hers, her bottom lip being gnawed on slightly by her front two teeth as she questioned the Brunette; Crystal couldn't say no.

"If you still have my phone number, it's the same as what it used to be- call me." She mumbled, not wanting to go too into depths with the girl she hasn't seen in nearly a decade "goodbye Gigi." She mumbled softly, lifting up her purse and waving it slightly with a small tight lipped smile before turning and walking away in the opposite direction.

But there was an issue

Gigi had no fucking clue what her number was.
