NICKY WAS SICK OF GIGI'S BEHAVIOUR.
The French woman was never overly intrusive and she strongly believed in allowing people to have their own personal space to release their feelings and thoughts.
But this was too much for Nicky to handle.
Ever since Crystal had left their apartment whenever her and Gigi had went out with one another Gigi had been angry.
It had been four days and all Gigi did was stomp around the apartment angrily and whenever Nicky would make her food she would mumble a quiet "thanks" and then slam the door in the french girls face. Nicky had tried to show her design ideas for a spring clothing line and all Gigi did was give the girl an annoyed sigh and say "okay." And leave.
Nicky had no issue with that in the first place, Nicky was fine with Gigi expressing any emotion as long as it didn't mentally or physically harm others.
Nicky drew the line at Gigi angrily sitting at a sewing machine for 12 hours without eating or drinking anything at all.
Whenever Nicky walked into Gigi's sewing room, seeing the sight of the thin pale girl sitting their hunched over, sweat beads at her forehead as she just wrote notes down and began sewing some random red velvet materials together, Nicky was concerned.
Although designing was both of their passions, it isn't quite the same whenever your forcing it upon yourself and not taking any breaks while doing so.
The sight of Gigi having herself so worked up for a reason unknown to Nicky made the Black haired girl feel sick to her stomach.
Nicky took a few steps into the white room, the only sounds that were heard was the sound of Gigi's staggered tired breathing and occasional grunts from when she accidentally would hurt her finger, the French girl going unnoticed.
Nicky made her way over to the socket where the plug was pushed in, making sure that Gigi won't notice her as she slowly reached down to unplug it.. her eyes looking at an irritated Gigi who stared at the sewing machine in confusion as it slowed to a stop.
Nicky slowly approached Gigi, not wanting to scare her too much from the countless hours she had just spent alone. Gigi just glanced up and her and breathed out softly. "Gigi... what happened?"
Gigi sighed, pulling her frail hands into her lap and cracking her knuckles which had somewhat stiffened up "what do you mean?" Her reply was short, she didn't want to delve into anything that she wasn't sure of.
Nicky's eyes glanced down to her hands, her thin fingers had small little cuts on the tips of them and had small red lines from staying in the same place for so long and she sighed, feeling somewhat defeated. "With Crystal. You have been angry ever since she left... what did she do?"
It wasn't like Nicky to press for information unless she genuinely thought the answer was important, and by her worrisome gaze resting on Gigi's figure; she guessed that was the case.
"She did nothing." Gigi swallowed, moving the fabrics which was beginning to be the start of a dress that the had just started the shape of around on her desk, Nicky sighing and reaching and grabbing the material from the taller girls hands. "You are lying to me. I don't deal with liars." Nicky stated as Gigi grunted in annoyance. "I'm not lying." She said once again.
Nicky groaned, throwing her head back in annoyance with a sigh "well then Gigi. Tell me why you are so FUCKING ANGRY!" She exclaimed.
Well that was straight to the point.
Gigi spun around completely on her chair? Looking up at Nicky who stared down awaiting an answer. "I thought... that maybe hanging out with Crystal would give me some of the closure I needed to like... move on." She mumbled, a soft awkward chuckle leaving her lips, humouring herself.
Nicky's eyes narrowed in confusion at the girl, she looked like she was on the verge of another one of her episodes, and Nicky was beginning to grow more and more anxious for her. "Yeah... did you get it?" She pressed further on.
Gigi swallowed thickly, inwardly flinching at her own thoughts. "She.... she's really cute." Gigi mumbled semi incoherently, Nicky just continuing to stare at her expectantly.
Nicky arched one of her perfectly plucked eyebrows at the girl, not really sure where she was going with this whole ordeal. "She's really cute?... this still doesn't explain the reason why you are angry to me."
Gigi knew her point didn't make much sense to Nicky, it didn't really to her too. "I thought that after all these years closure would help me... it would allow me to finally find somebody, yknow?" She questioned, glancing up to Nicky during her brief pause who was just nodding down at her as she spoke. "But.. she was just dorky and awkward and funny and..."
"and?"
"She made me feel the way I did seven years ago."
