CRYSTAL FELT SICK OF HERSELF. The feeling in her stomach was like a strong malignant festering ball of self disgust and anxiousness, and it was all Gigi Goode's fault.

Crystal wasn't angry at Gigi in anyway, of course she wasn't. The previous night Crystal had even rang Gigi and asked her to come over and paint her room with her the next time she was free.

But she was so fucking upset.

It only set in that morning. She had only came to terms with her self unease and anxiousness that morning, as soon as she woke up her thick emotions hit her like a truck.

All of those years of her pushing internalised homophobia on herself, her convincing herself that being attracted to women was just some random 'dumb phase', her going on dates with random men for it to convince her that somehow she was attracted to them in any way shape or form. It was all ruined.

And all because of fucking Gigi Goode.

Because in just one day of reconnecting with the girl Gigi had been so unconditionally kind, funny and so understanding. And Crystal was infuriated about it.

Every single brush of hands, small jokingly flirty remark, every single sarcastic comment. Every single one Crystal blushed at. And not to mention the mere sight of Gigi looking so elegant and mature made Crystal have to mentally take a double take.

All of this... years of her just pushing heterosexual normality, just for it to be swiped from her brain as soon as she saw a glimpse of a pretty girls cleavage. All because a girl was flirtatious with her.

Crystal panicked.

She freaked out. She couldn't breathe.

Her neck ached and so did her back, it was like a heart attack.

Was she having a heart attack?

She hadn't experienced a feeling as intense or putrid as this before. She felt like something was constantly clawing at her chest, perhaps it was her fingernails that were trying to help her grasp a breath, or perhaps it was the fact her heart felt like it was being ripped out of her chest.

She didn't realise she had completely lost touch with reality until she felt a pair of cold hands grip the sides of her smooth face tightly, holding onto it with a steady grip.

She didn't realise that Gigi was in her room until Gigi was standing crouched over in front of her face, repeating Crystal's name over and over again, trying to draw the girl out of her attack that she recognised so vividly, the way the brown hair girl was curled up and panting, mumbling panicked words in a washed up stare, it was all too familiar for the redhead.

"Hey Crystal, breathe, breathe.." Gigi spoke, placing her hand on Crystals hip and attempting to get her to sit up, a technique that Gigi had found that had helped her whenever she was in situations alike Crystal's.

A broken and breathless "get off me!" was exclaimed out of Crystals mouth, sounding slightly strangled by her loud Cry as she pushed Gigi back, the girl falling onto her floor and groaning softly at the small amount of hurt it caused to her.

Crystal sat, hiccuping through her tears, the blood slowly rushing back to her head as she rubbed her chest softly, the small beads of sweat resting on her forehead being wiped by her other hand.

"Breathe... baby just breathe.." Gigi spoke with a softer tone, moving onto her knees, ignoring the slight pain in her backside from Crystal's push. Gigi made her way over to crystal and just say in front of the girl on her knees, Crystal raised slightly in front of her, sitting trying to regain reality responsibly without having an extreme episode.

Minutes went by until Crystal settled. Gigi guessed it would of been ten if she was counting correctly, maybe more, but she finally settled. The two girls sat in silence, Gigi's pale hand coming up to rest on Crystals exposed knee, gently rubbing her thumb up and down it "hey." She spoke softly, her eyes glancing up to meet Crystals clearly, the older girl clearly embarrassed from her previous outbreak.

"Gigi... I'm so fucking sorry. I swear to god I didn't mean to push you I would never hurt you like that ever I just freaked out a little bit..i-" Crystal rambled, her words getting stuck in her throat and water brimmed up on her lower lash line once again.

"Crystal. I grabbed you, you didn't know I was there. I should be the one apologising for not giving you a warning." Gigi assures the girl who was shaken up about the whole ordeal, grabbing her tanned hand in hers to relieve it of its small jitter, Crystals eyes glancing down at the small movement and sighing intently at the gesture.

"I hate to ask this in case it makes you uncomfortable.." Crystal starts, her eyes resting on Gigi who just quirks an eyebrow, edging her to finish her question "but can you lie in bed with me. Like old times?" She breathes out.

Gigi couldn't have said yes faster.

Crystal slid her way over on her large bed, finally lying down whilst not panicking, creating room for Gigi to get in bed with her.

Gigi did so, getting in bed and laying mere inches away from the girl who had no issue with striking up a conversation "how did you get in?" Crystal asked softly.

"Your Mom let me in, she still looks stunning..." Gigi observed her eyes staring at the back of Crystals head, it was something Gigi used to often say to Crystal, telling her how pretty she was and how much she resembled her. Gigi used to jokingly tease Crystal by telling her that she was leaving her for her mother.

The words made Crystal softly chuckle, kinda softening the moment that she had just previously experienced, and she knew that Gigi did it intentionally for that soul purpose, not that she would complain about it though.

"Crystal are you okay?..." Gigi questioned after a few minutes of silence, scooting her body in closer to Crystal as she spoke, breaking the silence between the both of them.

Crystals hand slowly slid back, taking Gigi's silently and wrapping it around her hip and letting it rest on her stomach, drawing a small "oh" from the redhead who then proceeded to move in closer to the girl, closing the mere distance between them.

Gigi didn't want to push her, she knew what she asked was already a lot to unpack, so she didn't, she just relished in the feeling of being this close to the girl.

Gigi somewhat felt guilty for what she had been doing, it has been seven years and they had only talked once prior to this, and now she's in bed comforting her, she felt undeserving to be doing something like this with her but she would enjoy every single moment nonetheless.

"I lied." Crystal mumbled softly, after ten minutes of laying comfortably in Gigi's soft embrace, the girl drawing small circles on the Mexicans stomach, a small "hm?" leaving Gigi's lips at her words.

Crystal paused for a second, closing her eyes and breathing in, the only thing her senses could register is the feeling of Gigi's hand slowly drawing soft circles over her shirt and around her belly button, it was such a mindless yet enticing move.

"I'm not straight Gigi." She paused "I tried. I really did, but it's not like how they teach you... you can't just turn your attraction and in-attraction on or off y'know?" Crystal's voice was raising octaves as she spoke, the pace of her words quickening also, just admitting to something that she had been forced to internally repress was getting to her, and Gigi could tell.

Gigi slowly pressed her lips against Crystals shoulder, a soft and comforting move, a small breathe left Crystal's lips as she did so. A feeling that she hadn't felt in so long that she didn't think how significant it would be to her. "It's okay Crys'... you'll be okay." Gigi mumbled assuringly into Crystal's ear, her pale finger continuing to draw circles on her bellybutton as she spoke.

And for the first time in a long time, Crystal actually believed it.
