Chapter 1
Los des Promosidos

Naalimpungtan ako sa busina ng mga sasakyan. The moment I open my eyes I saw the traffic ahead to us, turns out that there is a road widening in that part of the road.

"Oh! Hija nagising ka pala. Don't worry we're now near to the town's entrance." Tito Seb told me upon seeing me awaken from my slumber.

"Yes, Tito!"

Tumingin na lamang ako sa bintana, the oceanic view of the sea water refreshen me. It's good to see a beautiful view as this.

Welcome
To
Los des Promosidos
(hoc est, ubi dilectio incipit)

"Tito ano pong ibig sabihin nung naksulat sa barikada kanina. It's kinda confusing that some of the words are not familliar" tanong ko makaraan naming malagpasan ang barikada.

"Well Hija, Los des Promosidos was the name of our town" he answered as he manuevered his car. "According to the town history and based from our old ancestors too, they say that this town was built in the spanish era. It was named after Emmanuel Promosido III a well known spanish influencer and one of the trusted men of the spanish queen in the late 1785. Emmanuel is a loyal servant since then that's why the queen give him this land." paliwag niya sa akin. "And about those encrypted letter that means 'this is where the love begins' that was a latin word. Before this town was an only hacienda but right after Emmanuel met a Filipina, he fell in love with the woman. They got married, and because she is Filipina she suggested, why not make this a town and let the others live here, after all this place was so big para maging isang hacienda lang. Pumayag naman si Emmanuel at pinangalanan nga itong Los des Promosidos. At nang mamatay ang kanyang asawa dahil sa malubhang sakit pinalagay niya ang mga latinong salita sa barikada upang maalala na dito nagsimula ang kanilang matamis na pagiibigan".

Napangiti na lang ako sa kwento ni Tito, love can really make people drown. Pamilyar na ang daan na binabagtas namin, even though I was just a little kid the last time i got here, I'm kinda familliar on this place.

My mom, Lady Soledad Salcedo-De Primo and my uncle,
Luthor Sebastian Salcedo are siblings they are just two on the family. My mother grew up here that is why you can call her and Tito a certified haciendero't haciendera. This whole flower plantation, the mansion and some ranch on the other part of the country was inherited by my uncle. While on the meantime my mom inherited the Hotel and reastaurant chains that were left by my Salcedo's grandparents.

While my dad Gregory De Primo was an only child that is why all of the family assets was inherited by him. The hospital chain's that was left by my grandma, the Primera Airlines and some of the other business of the De Primo clan.

"Hija, bumaba ka na muna at ako na ang bahala sa mga gamit mo." Sambit ni Tito Seb matapos niyang itigil ang kotse.

Right now I was staring on this mansion again, I can't really help it to be amaze and to admire this place a lot. This is a three story mansion. Sa bukana ng unang palapag ay makikita ang malaking bulwagan, above of it was the Itallian chandelier. In the left side was the dining area and the kitchen. While on the other side was living room. The whole mansion occupies eight guestrooms and seven master bedrooms. And what fascinated me more was the thought that this place interior was maden by my late grandfather.

"LIANA!" nagising bigla ang diwa ko ng makarinig ako ng sigaw mula sa itaas ng bulwagan.

"T-tita Carol?"

"Liana, oh god baby girl your really here!" she said upon going downstairs and pulled me for a hug.

"Tita Carol, I miss you so much" I hugged her in equal intensity.

Tita Carolina is Tito Seb's wife and they have an only son which is my cousin Joaquin Leonel Salcedo or 'Aqui' for short, and speaking of the devil...

"Tita, where's Aqui?" nilibot ko ang aking paningin sa paligid pero diko parin siya makita.

"Hayy! ayun na nga, hindi niya alam na pupunta ka rito kaya sumama siya sa trip ng mga kaibigan niya going to Pangasinan." she said as she motioned me to sit on the sofa.

"Ah, ganun po ba kelan daw po ang uwi niya?"

"Bukas na ang uwi nila three days lang kasi sila doon." she smiled.

"Oh, hindi mo pa ba pakakainin ang pamangkin mo Carolina?" suddenly Tito Seb butt in to our talk.

"Eto na nga pakakainin na Sebastian" she sarcastically said then rolled her eyes to my uncle."Liana come on here I cooked your favorites Hija, here is afritada, chicken lollipops and sinigang."

"You really know my favorites to well Tita!"

"How 'bout my favorite sweetheart?" Tito Seb asked as he kiss the cheeks of my aunt.

"Sorry Sebastian, I didn't cook yours eh" she said then rolled her eyes again.

I just laugh seeing both of them, if other people saw them they'll really think that they are arguing but in real side, it is their own way of paglalambing.

"You really don't love me." Tito Seb said then pout his lips, that cause me and Tita to burst into laughters.

"Kidding aside sweetheart, of course I cooked yours. Tina! pakilabas nga dito ng caldereta para señorito niyo." she commanded one of the household.

After ate Tina bring the caldereta we started eating, with them mostly like arguing again.

I was now on my room here at the mansion, yes I have my own.
Inaayos ko na ang mga gamit ko sa sarili kong walk-in closet dito, when my phone suddenly beep.

Now Calling....
Tonette;-)

I answered the call after the third beep.

"Soliana Gayle De Primo!" she calmly said, but I doubt it she freaking call me in my whole name. "WHERE. THE. FREAKING. HELL. ARE. YOU?" She then shouted on the other line.

Shit!..

Did I just forgot to tell her about this?

Oh..god!

This will gonna be a long..long call!
