Diaval and Maleficent arrive at the castle gates with the young prince. "He's waiting for you in there!" If we go inside those walls, we'll never come out alive" Diaval says with worry on his face. "Then don't come it's not your fight" maleficent says walking towards the gates with the prince. "I need you Diaval" "I can't do this without you Diaval" Diaval says rolling his eyes, whispering. "I can hear you" maleficent says with her eyebrows raised. Diaval has a sheepish look on his face. The only thing going through his head was (Y/N).
(At the castle)
"Look at her! Look at what you've done!" The king yells at the three fairies. "She's only sleeping" knotgrass peeps. "She's only sleeping, you say? She's only sleeping. She's only sleeping forever!!" He screams. "What about the kiss!!"Flittle says. "Yes, true loves kiss!" Thistlewit says Excitedly. "True love does not exist" the king says with anger. "B-but it's her only chance, your majesty!" The small fairies complain. The king becomes fed up and smacks the fairy, and walks away. "We can't give up, can we?Come on, girls"Knotgrass says. "But we don't even know where to start. True love doesn't just fall from trees, you know" Flittle says opening the door. "Pardon me? I'm embarrassed to say. I don't know where I am" the young prince says confused. "In King Stefan's castle" they say. "This is where I'm meant to be. Odd that I can't recall how I got here" he says scratching his head. "Why have you come?" They ask. "My father sent me to see the King" he replies.
"Who's your father?"
"King John of Ulstead"
"A prince!!" They say in shock.
The young prince glances into the room and sees sweet Aurora sleeping.
" Aurora?" He says walking into the room. "He knows her!?" Thistlewit says.
"Why is she sleeping?"
"She's trapped in an enchantment" " isn't she beautiful?"
" The most beautiful girl I've ever seen," the prince says getting nervous.
" do you want to kiss her?"
" very much"
"Go on, then!"
" I wouldn't feel right about it. I barely know her, we've only met once"
"Haven't you ever heard of love at first sight?! Kiss her!" They all yell. He hesitates. "Go on!" They yell frustratedly. "An enchantment you say?" The prince asks. "Kiss her!!!" He slowly leans down and places his lips on hers ever so slightly. He pulls away and nothing happens. "You didn't do it properly! It's supposed to be true love's kiss! I was certain he was the one!" They say dragging the young prince out of the room, they all leave. "What are you doing!?" Diaval asks Maleficent as she walks into the room. Maleficent walks over to aurora sleeping figure. "I will not ask your forgiveness because what I have done to you is unforgivable. I was so lost in hatred and revenge. Sweet Aurora, you stole what was left of my heart. And now I have lost you forever. I swear, no harm will come to you as long as I live. And not a day shall pass that I don't miss your smile" Maleficent cries. Tears stream down Diavals face as well. "I'm sorry beasty" she says leaning down laying a soft kiss on Aurora Forehead.
Moments pass, and sweet little Aurora's eyes flutter open. " hello, godmother" Aurora says with a smile. maleficent smiles in joy. "Hello beasty" she replies with tears. " no truer love" Diaval says with a smile. "She's in here sir!!" A man says from the other side of the door. " mistress they're coming!" Diaval says. " are we going back to the moors now?" Aurora asks. " if that is what you wish" maleficent says.
The men break through the door and drag for three out. "No let go!!" Aurora yells. They drag them to the ballroom. Over 100 men are dressed in armor. They throw maleficent on the floor and toss chains around her. The heavy metal burns maleficent skin. "No!" "I-into a dragon" maleficent cries, waving her hand. Diaval then turns into a giant dragon, fire erupts out of his mouth fighting the guards.
"I've waited 16 long years and I finally caught you! Your dragon isn't going to stop me from getting what is rightfully mine!! Your head on a silver platter" the king laughs. Maleficent looks around in panic. "Looking for someone? It's not that green haired demon your friends with is it? If it is, she's not coming" he laughs. "W-what have you done with her!" Maleficent yells. The king smiles evilly, waving his hand signalling his men. They then bring out a bloody, bruised (Y/N) in chains. She collapses on the floor, her back all bloody and torn. "No!! You took her wings!" Maleficent cries. Diaval glances and catches his mates gaze. His eyes become glossy and his legs become weak. Pain wells in his heart. The guards throw chains around Diaval, making him fall to the ground. "It's over Maleficent" the king yells. Suddenly giant black wings fly through the room, they attach to Maleficent. She tears the chains off of her and flies around the room knocking out all of the guards, setting Diaval free. Maleficent and the king battle outside. Little Aurora runs towards (Y/N)'s frail body. "(Y/N)!! Oh no!" She yells falling to the floor, seeing if the young fairy would move. "B-beautiful Aurora, I-it's lovely t-to see you" (Y/N) chokes out. Diaval takes out all the guards, and again looks at his mate. Tears stream down his face.
Maleficent flies in, and turns Diaval back into his normal form. He sprints towards the green haired fairy and falls to his knees. "My love!! Please talk to me! Y-your gonna be alright" Diaval says holding her in his arms. His voice cracks, pure pain is written on his face. Aurora cries in Maleficent's chest. "H-hello pretty bird" (Y/N) coughs. "My love, I'm so so sorry I didn't protect you," he cries, hugging her tighter. "It's okay m-my love, it's n-no ones fault" she says, her eyes becoming glossy. "T-they burnt my wings" (Y/N) cries. Maleficent gasps. "T-they burnt my wings a-and beat me" she sobs. Diaval kisses her forehead.
(Y/N) looks at Maleficent. "R-remember our deal," she says. "I do," Maleficent says, tears falling. "I-I love you Diaval, with a-all my heart. I-I'm too weak to recover" (Y/N) says laying her hand softly on his face. "N-no! Y-you can't leave me! You promised me" he cries. "Only for a short while my love" she replies wiping his tears. "No no, please. I love you" Diaval says trembling. "I promise, you'll see me soon pretty bird" she says weakly, her hand falling from his face. He grabs her hand and kisses it. "Please" he cries. "You made my life worth everything" (Y/N) says kissing Diaval one last time.
(Y/N)'s eyes go grey, her body limp. Blood flowing through her body one last time. "My love?!" Diaval cries, shaking her. "Please! Wake up! Please!" He sobs. Maleficent grabs him and hugs him, as he cries into her chest. "You'll see her again, I promise," Maleficent says hugging him.
