The Fallen Fairy Diaval X Reader

CHAPTER TWELVE!!!!!!!!

(Third person point of view)

"Do all the Fair People have wings?" Aurora asks looking up at maleficent.

"Most do" she replies

"Then why don't you? All the other fairies fly" Aurora says.

"I had wings once. They were stolen from me. That's all I wish to say about it" maleficent says trying not to think of her wings.

"What color were they? Were they big?" Asks the young princess.

"So big, they dragged behind me when I walked. And they were strong. They could carry me above the clouds and into the headwinds. They would have never faltered,  not ever. I could trust them." Maleficent replies getting into detail.

"Does (Y/N) have wings?" Aurora asks looking out to where Diaval and (Y/N) were.

"Yes," maleficent says imagining her wings.

"What are they like?" She asks.

"I don't know. She hasn't ever shown anybody them before. But let me tell you a secret dear, once (Y/N) falls in love, her wings will appear not only to us but to her true love" maleficent whispers to Aurora.

"How would her true love know?" She whispers back to Maleficent.

"They shine like the sun. They are more beautiful than the biggest of stars, and once her and her true love meet eye to eye, their eyes sparkle" Maleficent says looking over to Diaval giving (Y/N) a flower. She smiles.

Aurora looks over and smiles as well. "I think (Y/N) has found her true love fairy godmother," she says.

"I think so to beastie" maleficent replies. "She has to trust herself enough to show them first," she adds.

Walking slowly overcame (Y/N). "Hello, again sweet Aurora," she says with a warm smile. "Hello (Y/N)" Aurora says with a smile. "Where's Diaval?" Maleficent asks looking around. "Oh we're playing hide and go seek, I'm supposed to hide" (Y/N) laughs. "Would you like to join?" She adds. "Sure!" Aurora chirps. "Darling are you sure you get the concept, you were supposed to hide," Diaval says to (Y/N) walking up the stone steps. (Y/N) chuckles. As Diaval and (Y/N) bicker a little creature of the moors shyly gives Aurora a flower. "Thank you," she says sniffing the flower. As she was going to say something else, another creature of the moors throws mud her way, getting it all over her. She looks over at the creature and it just shrugs. She begins to laugh and starts to throw mud back. All the creatures of the moors join in and they all throw mud.

" isn't the night sky beautiful tonight," you ask looking over to Diaval. "Not as beautiful as you- oh my word did I just say that," he said freaking out. You laugh. "Thank you pretty bird," you say blushing. Diaval then picks a rose and hands it to (Y/N). "It's beautiful!" I exclaim. "The prettiest rose for the prettiest person here" he adds with a smile. "Oh, Diaval," You say blushing, covering your face. He uncovers your face with his gentle hands, taking them in his. He leans in forward slowly, you do too. Your faces are inches apart. 'What am I doing!' You think. 'What if he's just pitying you' you say in your head. You pull away and clear your throat. "Want to play a game pretty bird?" You say. "Uh um sure," he says clearing his throat as well, with a look of hurt on his face. "What game love?" He asks. "How about hide and go seek" you suggest. "Never heard of it, may I ask how you play?" Diaval says fixing his shirt. "You count to 10 with your eyes closed and I go and hide, then you have to try and find me," you say. "Ah, I've heard of this before actually," he says. "Good, now go count over there," you say pointing behind a tree.

As he goes behind the tree and counts I quickly walked over to where Maleficent and Aurora are. "Hello, again sweet Aurora," you say with a smile. "Hello (Y/N)" she says with a smile. "Where's Diaval?" Maleficent asks. "Oh we're playing hide and go seek, I'm supposed to hide," you say with a laugh. "Would you like to join?" I ask. "Sure!" Aurora says happily. "Darling are you sure you get the concept, you were supposed to hide," Diaval says startling me a bit. You chuckle. "I'm sorry Diaval," you say. "It's quite alright m'lady," he says blushing. Mud starts to fly everywhere. The moors creatures are playing with Aurora. I smile. One of the creatures throws mud on Maleficent and you, Diaval start to laugh Hysterically. Maleficent and I both use our magic, making a giant glob of mud fling on Diaval. "Look who's laughing now," I say laughing. Everyone starts to laugh.

After everyone was done throwing mud, Diaval and I took a walk to the stream to wash off. As we were walking Diaval stops. "Is everything okay?" I ask concerned. He takes a few steps ahead of me. "Is everything alright, d-did I do something?" I ask kinda hurt. He had a slightly mad look on his face. He walks over to you and grabs your face softly. "Why won't you let me kiss you," He says in a low voice. Your breath hitches in the back of your throat. "I-I'm afraid," you say. "Of me?" He asks. "No of myself, w-what I might do to you. Diaval I can't lose you like I lost all the others. I-I can't be alone anymore" you say tears spilling from your muddy face. "My lady you're never going to lose me, I promise you that as long as I live you'll never lose me," he says gently wiping away your tears.

Then it happened. Your wings started to glow a bright green and the Goldust of gold. They were the purest of black. You unfold and stretch them. You then wrap your large wings around Diaval and you. He smiles and leans in. You do the same. Your lips meet and you swore you heard angels singing. You both smile into the kiss. You kiss for what seems like forever, then pull apart for air. "Do you know how long I've wanted to do that," he says with a shy smile. "You have no idea," you say with a small laugh. "We better head to the stream and get cleaned up," You say unwrapping your wings. He grabs your hand and intertwined your fingers together. You both walk hand in hand to the stream.

For what you both didn't know was that someone was watching you. They had their eyes on something and they would do anything to get it. But for now, they will wait in the shadows for the right time to pounce, and for the right time to kill....
