Arnav woke up in the middle of the night and switched on his bedside lamp and looked at the ring he was wearing and then at Khushi. "I am sorry Khushi, I can't see you suffer because of me, you will have to take my ring and give me yours," he said and took off the ring from his finger and exchanged it with another ring. "I will get possessed and not you, sorry for not listening to you," he said and then slept. Later in morning, Khushi woke up and didn't find Arnav, she got up and began to look for him.

All she heard was Shiv's cry and Alia calming him. She went back to her room after finding him everywhere and then she heard strange noises from the washroom. It was a very thick voice. "Ring around the rosies, pocket full of posies, ashes ashes, we all fall down," sung his voice. "What the hell happened to him?" She said gulping in fear and took baby steps towards the washroom door and knocked over it. "Arnav?" She called out. "Ye jism hai toh kya? Yeh rooh ka libaas hai, ye dard hai toh kya? Ye ishq ki talaash hai, fana kiya mujhe, ye chahne ki aas ne, tarha...tarha... Shikast hi hua," sung his voice ignoring her.

"Oh God," she said about to knock again and thats she noticed the ring. "Oh no! Arnav exchanged the rings, means that now only the body is of Arnav and not the soul, but no matter what, I will have to save him," she said and was about to knock again. "Salam Khushi," said a voice and she startled and turned only to find Kabir with Aftab. "What are you doing here? And why did you bring him?" She asked.
