Chapter 1

Hi so my name is Ramira Silverstone and im 16. I live in Australia with my very annoying, over protective brother,Niall. The reason i classified him as 'over protective' was because he is always preventing me from doing things that i want to do. Like yesturday, i wanted to go to the mall with my friends,but nooooooooooo, 'its too dangerous for you to be there on your own' he says, 'you dont know what kind of people are out there!' he says. I mean c'mon im 16 and i want to live my life and do everything that makes me happy. The only time Niall does give in to my mall trip is when he decides to come with me. He is like my father. m y f a t h e r. A few years ago my father died in a car crash on his way home from work. My mother was a complete and utter bitch! God forgive me but she was.After my father had died she decided to leave us and move to New York! Without telling us! My brother and I had to be looked after by my nonna. I really love my nonna. She is the best person ever. Once my brother got old enough eg: 21, my nonna bought us a flat to live in so that we could have our own space but she still insisted for us to come every night for dinner, which we do very regularly. It broke my heart when my father died but ill always know that hell be here for me even if he technically isnt cuddling me like he used to do. Sometimes Niall and I would watch our home videos, which our mother was never in by the way. The home videos were always took by my dad. He used to take videos of christmas mornings, birthday parties and just special occasions for us to look back on. My mother never really cared about us and there were endless fights in our house, always resulting in my mum and dad spliting up but my mum always came crawling back to us just because she was running out of money or she needs to keep up her reputation. Im actually kind of glad that she left us, we are so much happier without her anyways.

I woke up on Saturday morning to find that i had 5 new messages from my best friend Anna.

'Hey!! wanna go to shortcuts with me??? x" Shortcuts is a mall just around the corner from where i live. Its actually really cool when i DONT go with my brother.

"please come with me!!!!!"

"ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xx"

"Okay im just going to go without you x"

"Im joking, please just persuade your brother!"

I lifted my phone up to face my eyes and began to text Anna back. I told her that Niall isnt here but my nonna is and she will let me go but I have to be back 4:30pm. She agreed and told me that shell see meet me there. I put on a nice outfit and walked downstairs to see my nonna cooking breakfast in our very small kitchen.

"Oh hi love!" My nonna said, kissing my cheek. Her kisses were so gentle and the aroma of her Chanel perfume made a smile appear on my face.

"Hi nonna! I have to eat breakfast quickly because im going to the mall shortly with my friends" I told her, sitting down with my pancakes that nonna had made me.

"Are you allowed to go there by yourself?" She asked.

"Yea,and anyways ill be home before Niall gets here. Itll give you a chance to relax nonna because you never do get that opportunity" I said. She nodded and then began to eat her jam scones. I looked at the time and decided to leave, applying some make up before i walked out the door. I gave a quick kiss to nonna and walked to Shortcuts. When I got there I could immediately see Anna with a bunch of people who I didnt recognise. All boys. I walked over to Anna so that i wouldnt look like a weirdo who looked like she was lost.

"Hey chick!" Anna said, putting her arm around me. She was totally showing off.

"Hey!" I replied. "Guys this is Ramira, my best friend" She said, introducing me to the four boys that stood before us. These boys were so fit. They were all gorgeous but there was one in particular who just looked like a made up human. He had dark brown hair and really strong arms. He was also really tall which made an impression on me since im a smurf. I came out of my daze when he spoke up.

"Hey" He said. His brown eyes scanning my lips for an answer to his friendly comment.

"Oh hi!" I replied.

"Im just going to go......." Anna said,walking a bit infront of me with the other three boys. I tried to catch her back because i knew what she was trying to do but i just left it. We walked on for a while. Anna was making me deliberatley talk to this boy.

"So im Calum" He said.

"Hi Calum" I replied.I know,what a stupid response. I face palmed myself and apologized for being so awquared.

"No dont be sorry, it was actually really sexy" He said. I stopped and looked at him.He was smiling and trying his very best not to look at me.
