Chapter 22

When we got to the doctors clinic my nonna got out and Calum was clutching my hand as we walked in. My nonna told the receptionist what we were there for and she told us to go ahead and take a seat in the waiting area. We walked around to the waiting area were there was about 5 people also waiting. Some of these people looked really sick and needed seen to immediately. We sat waiting for the door to open so that we could move up in the list. Calum plugged in his earphones and put one in my ear. He had Ed Sheerans 'X' on. We both loved Ed Sheeran and Calum knew which of his songs were my favourite. The playlist went down and then the song 'photograph' came on. Calum began to mime it to me as I listened to it. He's soo cute. The song ended with the popular line, 'wait for me to come home' and instead of Calum miming it, he took out our earphones and he whispered it to me, whilst our faces got closer and noses began to touch. We kissed and we both let go, smiling. I looked around and the people in the waiting area were staring at us and one woman made a 'aww' sound. It was a bit awquard. Calum and I just laughed. My nonna was smiling as she could see that I was happy with Calum.

"Next please!" We heard the doctor call from his room.

"Thats us!" Calum said, standing up and walking with nonna and I to see the doctor. We walked in and sat down. The doctor asked me some personal information about myself and he began to rapidly type it into his computer. It all fell silent in the room for a while. Then the doctor looked at me, pushing down his glasses to see me properly. He looked back at his computer and then sighed. He was a bit of a groan.

"So.....my name is Doctor hoey" he said. I could see Calum at the corner of my eye trying not laugh at the doctors name. I stared at him and he just burst out laughing, making me laugh. I coughed to stop myself from laughing. The doctor just sighed and my nonna looked disappointed. Calum was still laughing so I tapped his thigh and apologised to the doctor with a smile still on my face.

"Now......when did you find out you were pregnant?" He asked me, getting ready to type the information into his computer.

"Um....about 3 days" I told him. I looked at Calum and he nodded, agreeing with me.

"And have you taken any medication?" He asked me. I tried to think but I knew that I didnt.

"No" "okay well I'll give you a prescription to get some pain killers. You can only take this type of medication and I'll give you leaflets on how to keep yourself and the baby healthy" he told me, printing the perscription. He handed it to Calum and looked him up and down.

"Thank you doctor!" I said, walking out of his room. He just nodded his head and said,"hmm". We left in nonnas car and I could see that she had bought things for the party tomorrow night so that was another weight lifted off my shoulders. When we got home it was quite late so we all decided to go to bed. Nonna stayed as well because she was too tired to go home. I lay in bed, watching Calum get undressed to his boxers. His body was soo beautiful! And I have it!!!!! He got into bed beside me and cupped his right hand on my left cheek. We lay looking at eachother.

"I love you!" He said, his eyes twinkling as he spoke.

"I love you too babe!" I said, kissing him. He started laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked him, laughing myself.

"Ha.......doctor Hoey!" He said, laughing soo loud. God! He will never get over this! I laughed at his deep australian laugh. I kissed his cheek and turned around to face the wall. I could see the light of his phone lit up in the darkness. He must've been on his phone all night.

"Night babe!" He said, kissing my neck from behind me.

"Night!" I said, smiling.
