💨Izuku Midoriya x Reader

He was mumbling to himself again, Izuku Midoriya tapping his chin in thought as his dark green curls fell into his face and covered his vision. He didn't mind. He wasn't looking at anything in particular at the moment anyway. He was just staring at his paper blankly, thinking over the information he had stored for his upcoming test. He had been studying for hours now, and he knew if he failed Torino's class he'd be done for.

He was going through the different formulas and he sighed in aggrivation when he realized he still didn't have this one specific formula down. He let out a small sigh and whine in defeat, tugging at his hair and slamming his forehead into his book. He looked defeated, so tempted to give up on remembering the formula and failing the test but he knew how disappointed his mom would be if he failed.

He was sitting there in the library for a while, the sun starting to set and the library had to close in an hour or two.

Izuku lightly jumped when he felt a soft hand set on his shoulder, looking at the person to see your sparkling (e/c) eyes looking at him with shyness.

You both had been close friends for a while, not even where the boundaries of your friendship ended.

"H-hey, Zuku..." You said and he quickly scooched his chair to the side so (y/n) could have more space to sit down in the chair beside him. "Studying troubles?" You asked, gently setting your hand on his shoulder as you sat next to him. His shoulder was smooth and rounded, but firm with his muscle and you gently rubbed his shoulder in a soothing way.

He nodded, a small flush covering his cheeks as he scratched the back of his neck where the baby hairs had just started to grow. You smiled reassuringly, patting his back and you leaned forward to rub his back, wincing when you saw the formula he was studying on.

"Oh, that one took me forever..." You mumbled and Izuku nodded. Your arm brushed against his as you leaned forward to explain how to easily explain the formula, and Izuku's face flushed at the flames that sparked up at the contact.

He had always enjoyed your company, and you were his best friend. After Uraraka had started distancing herself from him, you were there to offer a shoulder for him to lean on.

"Well, we should get started! Let me show you how to do it the easy way!" You said, pulling the book over to you and Izuku's face lit up.

"Alright!"
