"Ouch." I whimpered, rubbing my forehead.

"Where the fuck were your eyes!?" Callie lifted her right eyebrow.

"Never mind, I'm okay." I'll have a headache later which I knew, but won't last long. After my head banging with Dylan's car, I just opened the door and sat inside, ignoring the geeks from the guys.

"We know you were spying him. No need to clear any obscurity to us." I became dumb, not contradicting any word she uttered. They hopped in and we sped off.

I got to my room and quickly took some medication. I'll be fine by morning. I took a shower and wore my pajamas with my hair in a fishtail high bump.

I grabbed milkshake from the fridge in the kitchen and joined Mom and Shane in the living room.

"When did you guys get here cause I didn't see you when I came?"

"Your eyes were behind your forehead so I'm not shocked you didn't realise us." I ignored Shane and gazed at my Mom.

"Don't mind him. We just came here." I sat beside Mom and turned to watch TV.

"Like seriously Mom? Tom and Jerry?"

"Doy I love it! Not like you who can sleep right after watching those scary movies."

"Who said I also don't like Tom and Jerry? Its the best among the rest." I grinned. Shane fake coughed and I pelted him.

My Mom I think forgot we were still here as she paid attention to Tom scouring Jerry, not missing a slide. I joined her, and as seconds turned to hours, we laughed our asses out.

"I really love Jerry." I cachinnated. My Mom nodded in concur.

"No! Its Tom!" Shane dissented.

"Don't let us start this argument again!" Mom tittered wiping the tears off her eyes. We proceeded crunching on our popcorn I served earlier.

"Mom, have you prepared for tomorrow?" I finally asked. I needed help in choosing my outfit. My Mom is an expect in such stuffs and really looks young with her everyday outfits just adding to her astounding looks.

"Why not, and no need to worry, I already purchased your outfit together with Shane's and mine."

"Thanks Mom." I squeezed her in my arms.

"Won't you allow me to hug her too?" Shane whined.

"Group hug?"

"Nova how many hours do you use to shower?"

"I'm coming Mom." I got out of the bathroom and found my dress on my bed. "Wow." I muttered.

Lying on the bed was an off shoulder burgundy lace satin ball gown, with gold glittered hasp purse beside it, and a sparkly rose gold high heels on the floor.

'Now stop wowing and get seated for me to accomplish my job." My Mom came to actually dress me with the make-up and all. I wonder why she always does that for me. I always tell her I can do it but she insists she does it, that if I do it myself, it won't be lovely unlike hers.

Mom left the room for me to prepare. I dried my hair and wore the gown before me. My Mom came back and she was ready in her outfit.

Jeez she was breathtaking. Her glittered ruched thigh slit cerulean dress brought out her shape and she looked much younger, as likely as not my age.

"Close that mouth of yours and place your butt down here and lemme get to work girl!" I sat on the chair in front of my mirror and my Mom initiated my make-up. She was humming 'You're welcome' by 'Dwayne Johnson' from 'Moana' while wearing my make-up.
