"Kenzie what's that in your hand?" Daphne walked up to her and questioned her, knowing for herself it was a gun. Why did she even ask such a question? Anyways.

"You'll get to know later Daphne, right now stand aside and let me deal with what I came here for." She blurted with atter in her voice and her gaze at me.

"Kenzie what the heck do you mean?" I quizzed her, clearly showing how puzzled I was.

"What do I mean? Is that what you're asking? Do I have to remind you...that you...?"

"Kenzie please stop it. You and I know very well Nova can't do such a thing. What's all this?" Daphne cut her short.

"Look Daphne, people do change," she paused, took a slice of the pizza and had a bite with the gun in her left hand.

"Nova used to be one of my closest friends, and you know that, but anything can happen, and I'm really shocked cause for Nova to do such a thing? I can't even accept that cause..."

"Cause you know she can't do such a thing. Why are you forcing yourself to accept that Kenzie? You guys have been friends for years and you know very well she can't do such a criminal act! Have you heard her out? No! Why? Because you caught her with a gun in hand.

Did you see the trigger been pulled? So why blame her in the first place? Is that how to judge? And you think that's the only proof you need, together with the fact that the direction of the gunshot was from her side. Do you know how that thing got into her hand? No! Why? Because you don't want to hear her out!

I understand you perfectly Kenzie, your Dad's death really hurts you and us all and you're planning on avenging on his death, which we're all aware of and ready to give a helping hand, but..."

"Stop stop stop!" Kenzie blurted out all of a sudden which made both Daphne and I wince. "Just stop it!"

"Why? Cause you still want to believe that Nova did that?" Daphne had it in mind not to stop I think.

"Daphne you getting on my nerves."

"Then accept the fact that she didn't put your father to death and find the whole truth for yourself! The gun was dropped in her hand by the murderer and he escaped! Just see that Kenzie..."

"Do you hear yourself out? What did she do when it was dropped in her hand? Wasn't she suppose to capture that person? Wasn't she suppose to burst out so loudly to draw everyone's attention to that person? Wouldn't that have helped? And here you tell me the person escaped! To where? Space? Ha"

"Kenzie hear me out." I finally spoke. After all Daphne had mouthed to her, she still wasn't ready to accept the fact that I didn't eliminate her father. I don't even know what to tell her now, but just repeat my story to her.

"I wasn't..."

"Don't you dare...!"

"Hear her out!" Daphne interrupted her. Wow thanks Daphne. I could see Kenzie was really angry which I detest, but I needed to let her know I'm not a murderer.

"Kenzie I didn't assassinate your Dad," I began. Kenzie wanted to speak but the look on Daphne's face terminated her. I like the way she's able to decree and only that will make you follow suit to her order.

"You know I was with you and Callie and Dylan before I excused myself to take a seat, cause I was exhausted, and from where I was seated, Shane, Van, Charlie and Milo were having an orgasmic conversation till there was a gunshot behind my left ear, which caused your Dad's death.

The person suddenly escaped while I was trying to figure out what he or she had dropped in my hand. I lifted my head and...he was gone. I tried to trace him but..." Kenzie tried to speak again but kept hush just by the look on Daphne's face.

"...it was too late. Right after that you...you started accusing me, I really was confused. I tried to explain it to you but you...you weren't ready to listen to me.

Your Mom also thinks I murdered her husband but I didn't. Neither you nor your Mom was ready to hear me out.

Even though I've learnt how to pull the trigger like you and Dylan doesn't mean I'm still capable of pulling it into your Dad's chest.

I even realised the bullet was meant for Shane rather than your Dad, so why will I do that?
Why will I want your Dad or my brother dead? What will I earn from it? Think about it yourself Kenzie.

I love you and your family like the way I love mine together with Callie's and Dylan's. I can never to harm to any of you."

"Enough is enough! Do you really believe that?" Kenzie exclaimed to Daphne. "Can't you see she just made that up just to convince us that she really didn't murder a human being? How could you Nova?"

"Can you stop it Kenzie!"

"Hell no Daphne! This bitch here needs no mercy!"

"You're the bitch instead! She's tryna explain herself to you and is this what you tell her in reply?"

"Did you just call me a bitch Daphne?"

"Did you just call her a bitch Kenzie?"

"Go to hell!"

"Go to shit!"

"Please stop it!" I had to interfere cause I heard enough. I can't watch Daphne say nor hear such words from either Callie or Dylan or even Kenzie and I.

'You're the cause of all this! Kenzie yelled in my face.

"You're the cause! Trying to blame an innocent person for something she didn't do!" Daphne defended me.

"You motherfucker!" And there was a gunshot which made me squeeze my eyes closed with my palms covering my ears for the loud gunshot.

"Kenzie you...you shot Daphne?"

No no no no this can't happen to Daphne. She was only defending me and now Kenzie's anger took over her to do this.

I always knew Kenzie's anger was as worse as Dylan's and its not wished for, but I never knew to the extent of releasing a projectile from that weapon towards her own friend's little sister!

What will I tell Dylan? Hell no! I can't imagine Daphne no longer existing. This is all my fault.

I sped towards her body in attempt to wake her up. Blood oozing from under her left breast where the bullet found its new abode. Wait was she shot at her heart? This isn't happening no!

"Daphne! Daphne please wake up I can't afford to lose you just like that please wake up!" I tried to wake her up but her body temperature turned colder and colder. I don't want to get the idea of her being dead.

I quickly grabbed my phone and called the ambulance. After the call I turned back to Daphne trying to wake her up.

"This is all your fault Nova! You killed my father and made my poor little girl push me to the wall to do this. I'm not finished with you yet." With that Kenzie turned to leave, she was dressed in all black and I knew her motive wasn't a good one.

I ignored her and turned to Daphne. "Daphne, Daphne no you can't leave me like this? Remember I still have to win the armrest battle you know? Okay okay let's do it like this, you'll wake up and I'll make you win the battle. That's pretty cool right...?" I giggled through my tears and had lost hope when I saw her motionless body.

Right then the door opened. Snapping my head to check who's it, and there was Dylan standing in the door way with the stuffs in his hands dropped onto the floor with his mouth agape.

"What the hell have you done?" He whispered.
