Happy reading❤
I got to Dylan's house and parked my car. I heaved a sigh of assurance and stepped out of the car.
Why do I feel something's not right?
I shook that thought off my head and made my way to the doorbell. Before I could even press the doorbell, the door opened and there stood Daphne with her gigantic smile almost covering her small face, her tiny hands behind her as innocent as ever and rocking her body left and right.
Her beam widened when she saw me and ran towards me for a hug. I must learn to stand still if I know I'll get a hug from Daphne. The force accompanied with her almost knocks me off the ground.
"Nova!"
"Daphne!" I bent down for her height to hug her well.
I really love this girl. There's no day I'll be with her and be mildly annoyed and restless through having nothing to do. She's so fun, crazy like her brother, stubborn, maybe from me, since I mostly spend time with her which is my wish.
She's tranquil, smart and pretty but sometimes psyched up which is the funniest part of hers I've ever met. She being so mad at someone doesn't really suit her, making her facial expression always humorous. Try to hold your breath and you have to meet your maker.
She's such a pretender and even Dylan sometimes finds it hard to believe me if she's reported by me. Only her watery eyes will make you consider her within a twinkle of an eye. She'd be a good actress, no doubt.
I remember there was time when she messed up the whole room just because I ignored her when she was trying to get my attention. I was busy building something like a triangular shaped wall with disposable cups.
Right after I placed the last cup she ruined everything. "I love you too," she had whispered in my ears and I felt like squeezing her till she could be unrecognisable.
After becoming cognizant that, that wasn't the only mess, Dylan came right after I noticed the disorder, giving me no chance to clean up and yet, I was blamed...thanks to watery eyes. She's old enough to make the room tidy not messy, but well, behaving childish isn't that bad.
Most at times too when I fall asleep, I'd feel a chilly liquid substance lingering down to my chest to soil my top.
The uncomfortable and penetrating coldness would cause my eyes to shot open and become apprise I'm soaked with chilled water which is about to solidify, with a Daphne grinning at me.
Only her smile would make me laugh with her, remembering when we once did same to Dylan. We were almost succumbed.
Last time too I was here with Callie and Kenzie. After watching movies with Daphne, she suggested we play truth or dare, and the dares she gave us, even thinking about them might twist your brain a little.
"I missed you." She snapped me out of my memories with her.
"I missed you too baby." I hugged her tight, not willing to let her leave my arms.
"Okay so are you volitional to buy a coffin for me? From the way you're compressing me, it perceives you really love digging graves." She managed to speak out of breath before I released her from the grip, I couldn't hold my laughter.
"Make sure the coffin you get for me will be of the best ones, golden rectangular shaped, containing a pillow which I'll lay my head, two quilts, mayhap pizza will do too, place that one right beside my head, and assorted sodas, you get me..."
"Yeah you're right, not forgetting pictures of Zane, covered in each and every part of the coffin."
"Oh damn I can't check out any longer." We giggled before making way to the couch.
