Y/n's POV // spring 2 Tuesday // hours later // 1:00 am in the morning //

Grace and Zen had gone to sleep.

We're all pretty exhausted, I put the message up on the town board and we all walked around and explored the town to memorize our ways.

I sat on the window cill, the town was silent.

The only noise left were the chatters and clinks of beer pints downstairs.

Abby sat beside me, accept she was on the ground instead.

"Abby, I'll be going downstairs to check get something to eat.. I'm kind of hungry" I stood up.

"I'll come" she tried standing.

"No, I can go by myself, remember no helping me out" I smiled at her as I pushed her back down onto the ground by her shoulders.

"O-ok.." she sighed as I walked away.

I brung my sword with me just in case.

You never know..

As I walked down the stairs to the entrance I looked across to the other room to the bar area.

Gus smiles at me as I passed by.

I smiled back at him.

"Y/n, Hello! You hungry?" Emily greeted me as she passed by with some beers.

"Yeah a little.." I giggled.

"Here why don't you go sit over there and I'll get you something to eat" she led me to the corner of the room.

I sat at a table for two.

I sat quietly as I waited for Emily.

"Princess Y/n? She's run away to be a mage hasent she?" a random man spoke.

"Princess? Mage? Are you kidding!? If I were a princess I'd stay at the castle all my life! What? She couldn't handle a little problems?".

Rumours and whispers came from every corner.

I stared at my table intensely, feeling suffocated by the words.

"God, the princess can do whatever she wants, It's her life" A man muttered from behind me.

I looked back at who it was.

He had blackish hair, held a pint of beer in his hand.

He looked at me as I stared at him.

"Oh.. so the princess lives here.." he muttered to himself.

"Please don't call me that" I said sternly at him.

"Why are you talking to me? Leave me alone" he spat.

"Why were you even looking at me?" The man looked to me once again.

"Well I heard you, the princess can do whatever she wants, it's her life.." I repeated after him.

I smiled as his face grew pink.

"Whatever, it's true isint it?" He looked away.

"Not really.." I sighed.

"I had to run away to be able to even do what I wanted.." I looked to the ground.

He stayed quiet.

"Say, what's your name?" I looked up at him.

"..Shane" he looked away and drank the rest of his beer.

"You drunk yet?" I smiled.

"No.. I can hold a lot of beer" he chuckles.

"I.. have.. not drank beer ever before in my life.." I laughed awkwardly.
