Chapter 4 | misunderstanding

Y/N's POV

"Y/n... listen to me.. No matter what.. Always stay strong, be yourself, no matter what.. Don't let anybody tell you other wise"

She smiled at me and held my hand tightly as she spoke.

I watched her grow weaker and weaker.

"Do what makes you happy.. alright?" She smiled.

"And Abby, please.. take care of Y/n for me.. you don't need to fight for her.. that's for her to do" she giggled.

"But.. stay by her side.. be there for her.. promise?" She caressed Abbys cheek.

"I promise!" Abby sniffed, rubbing her eyes from the tears.

Her eyebrows furrowed in anger, cursing the world for letting this happen.

"Y/n.. make your own decisions.. fight for what's right.. change the world".

"I love you.." she smiled as her grip loosened.

Tears flowing down her cheek as her eyes closed.

"Mommy.." i cried

"Mom!".

Shaking her was no use..

Dad has pulled me away from her and we all sobbed in memory of her sweet smile.

I felt my eyes flutter, everything was blurry.

Voices were muffled and serious.

"Mom?" I reached out to the closest person.

No..

Mom doesn't have purple hair..

"Y/n.." the muffled voice came ringing.

I jolted up right as I heard Abby speak.

"Mom!" I yelled, still in a trance.

Abby pulled me into an embrace.

Only then I took into my surroundings.

The inn.

Sam and Sebastian standing in front of me.

Abby holding me.

Zen and Grace rushing in from the other room.

"Y/n.. you were dreaming.. our Majesty is long gone.." Abby muttered, her voice sounding sad.

"I'm.. sorry.." I muttered before pushing her away gently.

I brushed away a tear as I felt it fall from my cheek.

"It's alright" she smiled.

"Uhm.. what happened exactly?" I stared down at the bed I was in.

"Last I remembered.." I thought back to what I was doing.

The hot springs..

"Oh! You had a heat stroke!" Grace exclaimed.

Why is she so exited????

I smiled at her in concern.

"well.. I'm doing fine now I guess.." I smiled.

"I do have a tiny headache.." I laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of my head.

"Alright, I'll go get some herbs from the forest.." Zen sighed.

"N-no! I wanna do that myself! I'll do it tomorrow when we go to the Cottage" I sat up on my knees.
