Chapter 5 | father

What the absolute hell is happening right now.

"Um-" Robin spoke.

The three of us sat in the living room of the cottage.

quietly.

In silence.

The bad kind.

"Let's just not talk about what happened, alright mom? Seb looked to her, eyeing her down carefully.

So this is what Robin meant by 'not having a great relationship'.

I sighed and stood up.

"I'm gonna go back to cleaning up at the greenhouse.."

"Oh! Before you do, here" Robin gave me a few packets of seeds.

I gasped and read some labels on how to take care of them.

"I've been taking care of the plants in the greenhouse but it seems some have died.. so I thought why not give you some replacements" she smiled brightly.

I looked up at her "thank you!"

Hugging her tightly, she smiled and I let go of her.

Robin leaves and I wave to Sebastian as I make my way to the greenhouse.

-time skip // 6:30 // hours later-

We did a pretty good job at the cottage if I do say so myself.

"So the greenhouse is pretty much done?" Grace asked.

"Yup, I'll just spend my time studying the plants and replanting for the rest of the week" I smiled at her.

"That's great! We just have to fix a couple things and check up on the water and were pretty much good" she smiled back.

"You guys find a good place to live?" I asked sam and Seb.

"Nah.. looks like we'll have to stay at the inn for a little while longer" Sam laughed awkwardly.

Suddenly.

I got the best idea ever.

"Why don't you guys live with us!?" I exclaimed.

"Earlier i was looking through the forest and there was another small cottage connecting to the greenhouse, I talked to Robin she said people can live there but it being connecting to the greenhouse was a little weird but I honestly don't mind" I suggested.

Everyone stared at me.

"that's a good idea" Zen agreed.

"You wouldn't mind?" Sam asked.

"Hey, were friends right?" Zen smiled.

"Then yeah! What do you think Seb?"

"Y-yeah, sure.." he smiled softly.

His smiles so pretty..

"Abby you claimed the room upstairs in the attic, right?" Grace asked.

"Yep"

"And my rooms right next to Zens, alright! This is awesome!" Grace jumped up and down in excitement.

I giggled at her.

"Right, y/n, about you being a florist"

I looked to Zen.

"Me and grace were exploring and found an empty shop in town square, I was thinking, maybe we could collaborate and make food there aswell"
