It's been years since Beca encountered the mysterious redhead. It's actually been exactly three years today, but who's counting? She told her friends about her meeting the redhead but she never told them how. She also hasn't tried to kill her self since then. She has done self harm though. She only did it once and she felt guilty after because she heard the girls voice in the back of her head telling her everything will be okay.
"Hey Becaw have you found you're lady love yet?" Jesse asked in a teasing tone.
"She's not my lady love." Beca defended. "She's just a person that I've had a small crush on over the years while trying to find her."
"You're definitely in love with her." Aubrey Posen said.
By the way Aubrey is Jesses girlfriend this instantly making her part of the group. Benji and Emily broke up for a year. During that year Emily dated Stacie which was quite shocking. But after that year they got back together.
"Hey lovely's what we talking about?" Stacie asked once she joined the group.
"Becas lady love." Jesse informed.
"So has Beca found said redhead and finally had her first kiss?" Stacie asked hopefully.
"No." Aubrey said sadly. "There is no way she is ever going to find her and get her first kiss."
"Are you sure you don't want to kiss me so you can at least die with having had your first kiss?" Stacie asked for the millionth time.
"No I've said this before my first kiss will be with this redhead." Beca said with determination.
"Whatever you say." Stacie said shaking her head.
"Anyway I need to get home." Beca said with a somber expression. "See you guys tomorrow." Maybe. Beca added in her head.
Beca walked home preparing herself for what will happen when she arrives. It's probably going to be worse today. She doesn't know why she just has this feeling. Beca slowly walked up to the door then opened it. What she saw shocked her. Her dad was sitting talking with her mom.
"Um hi." She said awkwardly not really knowing what to do in this situation.
"Hey Bec." Her dad said giving me a hug which instantly made my body tense.
"Don't 'hey Bec' me." I say bitterly. "You walked out on us... on me. You left me in this horrible environment."
"What's so horrible about it?" Her dad asked at a complete loss. "Nothing has changed since I've left."
Beca looked over his shoulder to her mother. Her lifeless eyes starring back. She had her normal scowl on her face. Beca knew if she said something she'd regret it.
"Nothing It doesn't matter." Beca said crossing his arms and shaking her head. "I'm going to my room."
Beca sprinted up to her room. She immediately grabbed her laptop and started working on her latest mix. She had so many mixed emotions right now. Her dad was back her mom didn't hit her. She had been in her room for a few hours when she heard her mom call her. Becas blood instantly went cold. She tentatively walked downstairs and was met with her mother and her belt.
"Sorry for the delay." She said laughing darkly before hitting Beca over and over.
"Stop!" This is the first Beca has spoken out. Today was just full of surprises.
"Stop?" Her mother asked with an evil smirk. "You're going to regret asking me to stop."
Her mother went to her room and grabbed a spiked belt. She just hit Beca with more force than ever before. Beca let out a yelp of pain. The beating lasted longer that ever before. Once her mother had enough she did what she always did. She called an Uber and went out drinking. Beca slowly made her way up the stairs. She grabbed a razor blade and made one cut. This cut was deep. She made another just as deep if not deeper. She just continued cutting as she cried. She then got an idea. She started running. Just like three years ago. She came up to the same bridge as before. Tears were still pouring out of her eyes. The cuts were still bleeding but Beca didn't care. She hoped on the side of bridge looking down at the water.
"Beca! Beca don't!" I heard a familiar voice. I just assumed it was Stacie or someone else.
"Just let me do it!" I yell back not caring to see who it was. "I can't do it anymore!"
"Yes you can. People need to hear your message." I turned and saw the same redhead looking beyond worried.
"Message? What the hell does that even mean?" I ask turning to her.
"It doesn't matter, just please don't jump." She said with pleading eyes.
"No, the last time I listened to you everything only got worse!" I say crying even more. "She got worse."
"Please don't. You need to become a music producer." She said quietly. "Please."
"No. I'm sorry but I can't." With that I jumped.
The water consumed me. The screams of the redhead became quite. Everything was black. I felt numb. I finally escaped the hell. Then all the sudden I was back. I was wet and on shore. There she was kneeling above me her clothes soaking wet.
"Thank god you're okay." She said clutching her heart. "Don't ever do that again. You scared the shit out of me."
"Why did you save me?" I asked barley above a whisper. "Why do you care so much? You barley know me."
"I care because you're meant for great things. I saved you because you're special." She said shrugging. "And who cares if I barley know you. You're an amazing person who will get through this."
"You can't call me amazing when you don't know me." I say standing up.
We talked. Just like before. We talked about how everything has gotten worse. It was jut like the first night. She gave me amazing advice about how to deal with things.
"Oh and tomorrow when Jesse asks you to watch Table 19 with him say yes. It'll help I promise." Chloe said when we arrived at my house.
"How do you..." She was gone. It's like she disappeared again. "Shit! I forgot to get her name!"
I walked in the house and saw my mother making out with another boy toy on the couch. I quietly made my way upstairs going in noticed my my mother. I kept on thinking about how the redhead talked about a message. What could I offer the world? I grabbed an empty notebook and opened the first page. In big letters at the top I wrote what's my message?.

"Becaw!" Jesse yelled across the hall. "I was wondering if you wanted to watch a movie called Table 19 with me?"
My instinct was to say no but then I remembered what she said. She knew Jesse was going to ask me to watch a movie and she even hit the right movie. How does she know all of these things?
"Yeah... I'll watch the movie with you Jess." I say with a genuine smile. My first genuine smile in years.
"Wait really?" Jesse asked with a growing smile. "Yes! Oh my god this is the best day ever."
Jesse then proceeded to yell down the hall how Beca Mitchell was going to watch a movie with him. I laughed at his goofiness.
"Hey Beca are you feeling okay? I think I just heard you laugh." Stacie asked walking up behind me.
"Yeah Stace. For the first time in awhile I'm doing just fine." I say turning to her with a smile and hugging her.
"Oh my god! Beca Mitchell just hugged me willingly!" Stacie said doing a similar thing as Jesse.
"What's got them in such a good mood?" Benji asked joining me at my locker. "Wait are you... smiling?"
"Oh my god! Benji she's smiling!" Emily said taping his shoulder rapidly. "Amy! Becas smiling!"
"Shawshank is smiling?" Amy asked appearing out of nowhere. "That's the Shawshank I met."
Amy pulled Beca into a giant hug. The three friends then ran down the hall yelling how Beca was in a good mood. Beca just laughed at there goofiness. Today was gonna be a good day.
"Good job Jesse... make sure Becas okay for me. I can't be there all the time even if I want too." The redhead said quietly to herself. "Make sure she finds her message."
