Peter's POV:

For 3 weeks i have worked relentlessly trying to regain my life. Piece by piece by kind is getting out back together. I couldn't be happier.

I dragged Wade up the stairs to my room, locking the door behind me. "Peter?" Wade says, flushing slightly. God he looks adorable. His red lips parted, his overgrown blonde hair flopping in front of his eyes.

"Yes," I say with a smirk. I run my hands over his arms, sending tingles through my fingers. I grip his side's lowering myself in his lap. This draws a whimper, which only encourages me. I lean in, his breath hot against my face. Closing the gap I lock my lips onto his. My arms move up his back, gripping onto his hair.

A deep moan is drawn from his throat, as he deepens the kiss. I slide my tongue over his lip. But he pulls back. I pout at him, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"I love you Peter, but please. Let's wait." I nodded, kissing his nose. It's adorable how red he gets when I do things like this. It only makes me want to do it more. But if Wade wants to wait then wait we shall.

"What do you wanna do then?" I ask, flopping onto the bed beside him. He just shrugs leaning back with me. Then a smile tugs at his lips. "Wanna go down to the training room?"

I nod excitedly, grabbing my web shooters from the bedside table. I am so glad I remembered how to use them, it is way more fun than walking. I attach the metal to my wrists and fire a test shot to ensure they are working. Wade is gazing at me, a loving glint in his eyes. "What?" I say through a smile.

"Nothing. Are we going or what?" I latch onto his waist and close my eyes. In an instant we are in the training room. The teleportation made my head spin, so I steadied myself against Wade. Once I was feeling relatively normal I shot a web and hung of the ceiling.

"Catch me if you can!"

"Oh it's on bug boy!"

"Hey I am an arachnid you idiot."

"Oh same thing!"

Steve's POV:

I heard laughter coming from inside the training room. I peered through the window to see Wade chasing Peter around, Peter was evading him skilfully. The sight made me smile. I am glad Peter is getting back to his old self. Despite the overwhelming urge to join them, i decided to leave them be. I head back upstairs, my thoughts fixed on my son.

I almost didn't hear the fire alarm go off. Almost.

"Tony what the hell is going on?" I run into the kitchen to see Tony running round with a pan of flames, Clint trying to put them out. The two stopped when i entered. Pietro was doubled over in the corner laughing. "Well Captain, your husband decided he wanted to cook you dinner. How did that go Tony?" Pietro said through laughs.

Tony glared at him, having finally put out the flames. "Maybe you should leave the cooking to me babe." I say, playfully hitting his shoulder. He pulled a face at me, and wandered off to the living room. As he did so, Wade appeared holding a crying Peter to his chest.

"What the hell! You scared him half to death. Will you stop playing with fire." Wade shouted, stroking Peter's hair. Pietro stopped his giggling, a concerned look passing over his slightly red face. Clint was glaring at Tony, who looked even more guilty than before. Tony went over to the boys and pulled our son into a hug.

"I'm sorry, Pete. I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He cooed. Wade just glared at him, angry that we had interrupted their fun. Peter was whimpering, mumbling about bad memories.

Every so often, Peter had flashbacks to the time he was kidnapped. They came in waves, triggered by the slightest noise or action. We have tried to avoid certain phrases or noises as these flashbacks are heartbreaking to watch. He would slip in and out of reality, sometimes experiencing hallucinations. It was especially hard for me and Buck to watch, as we know first hand how hard these are to deal with.

"Peter, you're okay. I've got you." Tony whispered in his ear. I join the hug, my arms eloping both my husband and son. Everyone else watched in sympathy for Peter. No one wanted to see him like this. So vulnerable and scared.

Peter's whimpering died down, and he pulled away with a weak smile. Wade took him back to his room. We didn't see either of the boys for the rest of the day.

By midnight, it was just me and Tony left in the kitchen. We had barely moved, stuck in our emotions. It wasn't until the final person left that Tony broke down. "I want him back Steve." He cried into my shoulder. I held him close, trying to keep myself from crying. "I know honey. I do too." I rocked him back and forth, cradling his head. He was shaking, sobs wracking through his body. When he pulled back i could see bags under his eyes from the lack of sleep. His hair was long and untamed. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get him to focus on himself. It feels like I am losing the most important people in my life, and I cannot do anything to stop it.

Tony's kiss pulls me back to reality, grounding me. It was slow and passionate, the perfect comfort. It reminds me of how much I miss our nights together, which he now spends down in the lab trying to figure out new ways to coax Peter's memory back. But I can't tell him this. I know its selfish to want him to be with me when he is trying to help our son. So for now I savour this kiss, knowing I may not get one in a while.
