Third person POV:

Wade lead the attack, crashing through the window of the tiny apartment. His katanas in hand and ready to cause serious harm. he was quickly joined by Peter, who was slightly out of breath from trying to keep up with his boyfriend.

Once the building was surrounded by the avengers, Wade and Peter began their search around the apartment. Nothing looked out of the ordinary and there was noone home.

"Maybe he already left." Peter said, voice full of confusion. Wade let out a frustrated yell and punched the nearest wall. The entire building shook.

"Wow. Didn't think I punched it that hard." Wade laughed nervously, trying to distract himself from the odd situation. The walls continued to shake. Over the comms they could hear grunts and disstressed yells.

"Kids get out of there. the building is rigged to explode. Whatever you two were doing in there triggered the bomb. LEAVE!"

They didn't have to be told twice. Peter wrapped his arms around Wade's waist who teleported them to the roof of the building opposite. Peter began pacing, looking nervously at the building. Streams of people were coming out, a mixture of men, women and children. Innocent people whose lives were on the line, because of them.

Wade watched Peter pace, knowing full well he was gonna break any minute.

"Pete we will find him. He must have known we were coming, otherwise he wouldn't of put explosives in that building." Wade whispered, putting a hand on his shoulder. they watched in silence as the avengers took the residents to safety, as well as clearing out neighbouring complexes.

"We should be helping." Wade muttered.

"No. I am not risking him getting you. how do you know he isn't in one of those buildings. waiting for you. No you are staying here, were everyone can see you." Peter was breathing heavily, his hand gripping onto wade's forearm so hard that there would most likely be a bruise.

"Okay fine." They sat down on the rooftop, acting as look out. As soon as the last person had been vacated there was a defeaning boom.

The building collapsed in a cloud of smoke. Large flames rose above the surrounding apartment complexes. Tony started to put out the fire with some help from Wanda and Pietro, who contained the flames.

"Wade get Peter back home. We are done here." Steve said over the comms.

the two let out a sigh of frustration, but headed home none the less.

Wade's POV:

What a fucking waste of time. He knew we were coming and instead of staying and fighting like a man, he ran. What a coward.

How did he know we were coming.

I don't know. I bet he was never there to begin with. That agent probably gave us a fake address.

Why didn't I think of that.

"Shut up!" I yell. Peter backed away slightly and I instantly regret yelling. "Sorry Spidey. I didn't mean to yell." Peter just nodded, wrapping his arms around my waist. His heartbeat was elevated, so much so I could feel it through my suit. I stroked his hair which seemed to calm both of us down.

"I'm sorry we didn't find him." He said in a small voice. I tilted his head up and drew back his mask enough for his lips to show. He did the same for me.

"You don't need to be sorry. We will find him and he will pay for everything he has done to us." I gave him a chaste kiss, causing a light blush to dust his cheeks. The others started piling into the living area, forcing us to separate.

The group sat down on the various chairs and sofas in the room looking exhausted. No one spoke for a good five minutes, which made me very uncomfortable. I don't like silence.

"Any other ideas on how to find my dear old dad." I ask my voice thick with sarcasm. Luckily it drew a few chuckles, breaking the heavy tension that had settled.

"Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea how to find him. That guy has had years of expert training. I mean he used to be an X-men. It would take months to find even a small trace of him." Tony said with a sigh, slumping into the couch.

"Maybe. Maybe not."

Peter had uncurled himself from my side. I looked at him with intense curiosity. What on earth was he going to do?

Peter's POV:

As my Dad spoke a reel of images flashed through my mind. Like screenshots of my dreams, well nightmares, that I have night after night. Walls covered in the same snake-like symbol kept appearing, along with rows upon rows of glass cells holding prisoners who had been taken of the streets much like myself.

These images made my head spin. Whatever this symbol means, it must be important.

I jump up and run over the the cabinet to grab a pen and paper. I return to my seat and start scribbling down the symbol I had seen. I made a point to ignore all the questions that were incredibly distracting. Once I had finished I handed the paper to Wade.

"This symbol keeps appearing in my flashbacks. Always the same one. It has to mean something. We could scan it and trace it, hopefully leading us to Logan."

Wade stared at me like I was some kind of angel sent from heaven. He brought me into a bone crushing hug. "You are amazing, Spidey." He said through laughs of joy. I hug him back, ignoring the fact I couldn't breathe.

The paper was being passed round the group. When it reached Bucky he gasped, which drew a lot of attention.

"What is it Buck?" Pops asked.

"I know that symbol. When I worked for...when i was being controlled I was sent to a warehouse to take out the leader of some weapon dealer who had betrayed Hydra. This symbol was plastered everywhere. The weapons, the walls, the uniforms. Everywhere. They called themselves 'The Viper'. Your Dad must work for, or lead, this group."

Wade stared in utter shock, mouth agape. He shook of his initial shock. "Where can we find them."

"They operate under the radar. Usually in abandoned warehouses large enough to smuggle and store weapons in." Wade turned to Dad, who had already started tapping away at a screen.

"There are three warehouses with known criminal activity in Brooklyn. Two of which have been recently abandoned. I suggest we start with those." Dad said. Everyone sprung into action.

I went to my room to refill my web cartrages. Even though I can make my own webs, it is always useful to have a backup. My natural webs have proven to be unreliable at times. Wade joined me, his belt full of various knives and guns. Usually I would dig into him, saying how we shouldn't go out to kill people. as we are superheros after all. But today I couldn't do that.

After all, I wanted to kill that son of a bitch myself.

Yep I got your hopes up for nothing. Sorry bout that first part I wanted to be cruel.

Updates may be a little slow as I have a busy week ahead.

Until next time!
