I'm A Ballinger-Evans Now: Chapter 9

Abigail's POV:
I woke up to a beeping sound and people whispering. I opened my eyes and saw that I was in hospital and that Colleen and Josh were in the room.
"She's awake!" Colleen screamed.
She then pressed a button above my head and a nurse came in almost straight away.
"Oh look she's awake!" Said the nurse.
She then checked me over and told me that I had already has surgery which would explain why I had bandages on me. She also said that I didn't break any bones bad enough to need casts but I did have a brace on my left wrist because they think I may have hit the growth plate, but they couldn't tell. She then left the room.
"So the doctor also told us you would be able to leave tomorrow!" Josh piped in.
"Cool! But what about Scott?" I asked.
"He ran and once he saw police, he shot himself!" Josh said.
"Hallelujah" I shouted.
Both Colleen and Josh laughed.

Colleen's POV:
"Abi?" I asked.
"Mhm" she replied with looking up at me.
"So you don't get scared when we get back to our apartment-" I started.
"What? You have an apartment!?" She asked.
"Yeah..." I replied.
"So who's house were we at before?" She asked with a very confused look on her face.
"Oh, sorry! That was my parents house! I forgot to tell you that, didn't I?" I said.
"Yeah..." She said.
Josh just laughed.

*the next day*

Josh and I had gone home the night before because we weren't direct family we weren't allowed to stay. We drove to the hospital and went into Abi's room. She wasn't there.
I screamed and ran out. I asked a nurse and she said that Abi hadn't gone anywhere. We walked back down the hallway and saw that she was being wheeled out of the bathroom by a nurse.
"Oh god..." I said, noticing my face turn bright red in embarrassment.
Josh couldn't stop laughing!
"Hey, it's not funny! I was worried!" I said, clearly embarrassed.
"Well. I mean... It kinda was" Josh said trying not to laugh.
We walked back into Abi's room. Thank god she didn't hear!
