Colleen's POV:
I was worried that Abi wouldn't want to stay with us anymore. I was really mad at Rachel. I went and got Abi in to the car. I hope she forgave me. I then got a text. It was from Rachel. It read...
'Colleen, I'm sorry! I really am! I need a break. I was diagnosed with depression and it's all too much! I can't do it anymore. To lift a small weight off my shoulders, I can't do the Miranda shows anymore! I'm moving away. Far, far away. I'm sorry, I just can't handle it! I love you and you've been amazing! Thank you! Sorry!'
I didn't know what it meant. To be honest, I didn't want to know.
We finally arrived at the courthouse. Josh and I went to sign the forms while Abi waited in the waiting room.Abigail's POV:
I forgave Colleen. It wasn't her fault. Actually, it was mine. But if Josh and Colleen were willing to adopt me, they must love me, so I held on.
"Abi, come sign this!" I heard Colleen say, she sounded very excited.
I walked over and signed the papers. I got given a new birth certificate and everything. I was happy.
You know why I was happy? Because I'm A Ballinger-Evans Now! But when Josh and Colleen get married I'll be an Evans! But for now, I'm Abigail Grace Ballinger-Evans, and I'm proud of it! It's been a long road. I've been through a lot, but I've made it! I've finally made it! We drove home as a family! A family! I don't know how long it's been since I've said that! Josh, Colleen and I, are a family!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Authors Note:
This isn't the end of the book! I should have the last chapter up very shortly! I'm sorry of it was a bit rushed! I have another story which I'm more proud of.
Love you all!
