I take a deep breath as I stare out the window, I watch the colours of the leaves as the sunlight bounces off of them; the small patches of flowers growing at the base of the biggest trees, something I'd never noticed before. I smile as I look at Tyler, Liam was driving Tia into town so Tyler and I were headed to his house alone. The kiss from last night was on my mind as I touch my lip, my smile never leaving my face.

As we got deeper into the forest, a few shirtless guys appear from behind the trees but retreat when they see Tyler. This wasn't unusual, Tia had explained that they guarded the private property when I had asked years ago. "Are they werewolves?" I ask curiously, eager to learn everything I needed to know.

"Yes, they are some of our pack warriors, they take shifts guarding the perimeter, though they could smell me, you are not a familiar scent to them right now because you don't come here often but soon they will recognise you as their Luna."

"Luna?" I ask as he continues up the driveway and into his garage, I test the word on my tongue, since it's not a word I'd have previously used in an everyday conversation. We come out the car and head through the door leading into his house.

He takes my hand as we head upstairs to his room, "yes, the Luna and the Alpha are the leaders of the pack, they are both equal in power. Right now, the Alpha and Luna are my parents but in a few years it will be me, with you at my side." I blush at this and look away as I sit on his bed and he sits on his desk chair. I'd never really looked around at his room, I'd only been in it a few times, but I smile as I look at the pictures around his room, half of them being the same pictures that are in my room and Tia's but there were a few with people I had never met.

"Does anyone come next or is everyone equal under the leadership of the Alpha and Luna?" I ask curiously, giving him my full attention. He leans back in his chair and smiles at my eagerness.

"Next comes the Beta, currently Liam's parents but when I take over it will be Liam, the Beta is second in command, in our pack it's the Beta (and Beta female) who deals with punishment of pack members but in some serious cases the Alpha and/or Luna will help in the final decision. Then we have the Chief warrior, this is a high honour to hold, they train wolves of all ages and have the final say in who becomes a pack warrior, they are vital members as they have to be the best fighters besides the Alpha and Beta. Since pack strength is important in case of any attacks all pack members are required to learn self defence from the age of twelve to sixteen and then have the choice of training to be a pack warrior or to pursue other careers like becoming a doctor, lawyer, teacher and other professions.

"Finally there are the Deltas, most packs have two or three, ours have five, sometimes six, we give each delta a section and so any complaints or important messages or paperwork can be sent through to them, anything financial comes to us for approval and most other documents that need approving are sent to the Beta as we also have a family company to run."

"Does that mean that everyone here is a werewolf?" I ask as he slides his chair closer to me.

"No, we have a couple humans who live here and a witch, she was abandoned near our territory when she was four, a couple who were struggling to have a baby asked my parents if they could adopt her and they agreed as long as her family didn't come back for her after they announced that they had found her."

"That was sweet of them to do, how old is she now?"

"She's eight years old, the couple managed to have two other kids so she's got some siblings now but she knows that she's different, we have an elder of the witches come down a couple times a week to help her learn how to control her powers since she's already got more power than expected." As he finished speaking he reached forward and brush a strand of my hair behind my ear.

I blush and look down as I realise that as he spoke we had unconsciously been leaning towards each other, "don't turn away, I've never seen anyone as beautiful as you are, every time you smile it takes my breath away." I smile as he leans closer but falter as a thought pops in my head.

"Wait," I say as I pull away, "I've been nervous to ask but I need to know," I take a deep breath before asking, "who is Zoey to you?" I'd been worried that she was his girlfriend before I found out the truth about myself, but it suddenly popped back into my mind.

"Zoey's parents are an associates of my father's business, our fathers are about to sign a big business contract with them and so my father asked if I'd keep Zoey company whilst they were here. They're from a different pack, her father and mother are the current Alpha and Luna. There's nothing going on between us at all."

"Okay," I say, relieved that I had not ruined their relationship or kissed him while he was with her. He kissed the side of my head and stood up, pulling me with him. "Do you want to go for a walk?" I asked as we headed downstairs.

"Actually I was thinking more of a picnic, it's a nice day," I nod and after grabbing a blanket and some snacks we head out the garden door. Once we leave the gated area of their garden he steers me to the right and down a path I had never been before. I loved the different types of flowers and plants that Nikita, Tyler and Tiana's mum grew, we'd helped her a few times with the gardening when I would come down.

As we continued down the path something about the scene tugs at a memory but it's not until we break through the edge of the forest and into the flower field that I realise why. "My dream," I gasp as I take in the sights, everything is almost an exact match to my dream.

"Are you okay?" Tyler asks as he steps in front of me looking confused, "what dream?" I take a second to wonder how this is all possible, how I could have almost perfectly dreamt this place before I had even been here.

"I had a dream before my birthday, a dream about this place, there was someone with me but I didn't see who, the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day like this." I slow down after hearing how it sounds out loud. "Sorry, you probably think I'm crazy." I said whilst looking away, knowing that is what I'd have thought myself a few days ago.

"Actually, not at all, lots of supernatural beings sometimes dream of the future, mostly witches who would normally become seers if their gift of foresight is strong but sometimes it can manifest in other species, but no one really knows why."

I ponder over that, wondering what it could mean and why I dreamt of this place. After realising that I was only giving myself a headache we placed the blanket and snacks near the edge of the water and sat and talked about random topics and about the supernatural world. "Can I see your wolf now?" I asked, anxious and excited to see for myself. I close my eyes as he takes off his clothes and only open them after I hear a weird crack and a big tongue lick the side of my face.

I laugh as I wipe away the saliva of the large black wolf with a silver strip from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail, the same bright blue eyes but with a touch of gold in them, he was beautiful. He rolled around playfully before laying down with his head in my lap. I stroked his head and sat in a peaceful silence before he decided to change back.

It was amazing to just spend time with Tyler and discover this new bond between us, I could feel us growing closer. But with all the positives about knowing the truth and having a soul mate I hadn't forgot about El Chupa. "What am I going to do if El Chupacabra comes after me? What if he already knows about me? I don't even know how to control my powers, they just pop up at random moments." I sigh as I lift my head from Tyler's shoulder and take a deep breath.

He turned around so he could face me and sighed, "we were going to wait a few days before telling you but an Elder of the Elementals is going to start helping you both with learning how to control your powers and learning the histories, mostly of your kind but also the essential knowledge of all the other species."

I groaned at that, "so we just finished sixth form and learning and exams and I have to start it all over again?" He chuckled at that which made me start laughing, deep down I am excited to learn how to control my powers. We sat there for about another hour or so before we walked back to his house and gave me a short spark-filled kiss before opening my car door so I could drive home.
