NADIA POV:

I may have agreed to helping Hudson out but that didn't mean that It couldn't sabotage his plans to get what I wanted. I wanted him. I wasn't gonna let Gena have an upper hand. I need to find a way for him to see that I like him.

In the meantime, Gena and I went to class. Surprisingly, the room was full. Only a few people usually came early. Gena took the initiative to ask what's going on.

"Hey, guy, is Miss Wright already here??"

"Yes, she's here." a few of them replied together like a chorus.

"Alright, thanks."

The room went back to pitch-black silence. Gena and I scuffled over to our seats close to the front, trying not to disturbed everyone's serenity any further. The room was huge for an English room. It had a bunch of Macbeth posters at the back, lots more Shakespeare to the right and at the front of the class was stuff to do with the exams.

"Is she really here?" I asked Gena.

"I think so. These people would have been talking if she hadn't maybe popped by at the beginning of the lesson."

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense."

At that moment, footsteps of a troll entered our hearing range. She was here. Standing at 6.1 ft. tall, Miss Wright towered over everyone in the classroom. She was the definition of "In Charge". That added to her strict nature because no one would ever cross her. However, at the same time, she was also a really nice teacher. She gave reasoned advise here and there where she thought was necessary.

"Alright class, I hope you guys are almost done with the short Pop Quiz." she said.

"Miss, could we please grab two copies of the Pop Quiz?" Gena asked, daringly. "We arrived after you handed them out."

"And who's fault is that?" she demanded to know. Everyone in the room let out a gasp in a low voice. The atmosphere suddenly turned dark. "I told everyone to come five minutes earlier than lesson time, did I not?"

"You did, miss". I spoke.

"I'm thinking of giving you the headmaster's afternoon detention but I'm free this afternoon so you will both come back at 2PM to do your Pop Quiz. It's not even a 'Pop Quiz' anymore!" She hissed.

"We will." we said, simultaneously.

The woman carried on teaching after the Pop Quiz in her 'glory'. While everyone was paying attention to her teachings, I decided to think of a way I can do what Hudson asked me to do and then, at the time time, make him notice that I like him. I think it's best if I just tell him the truth that I like him and also tell Gena that he likes her. Maybe it would be better if they both know.

"Alright class, you guys can go." said Miss Wright.

Gladly.

Once Gena and I exited the over-decorated room, went straight to the sitting area. There was not many people there, giving us a nice and quiet atmosphere. Once we sat down, Gena could already tell that something was bothering my mind.

"Hey, Gena..."

"What's up?"

"What would you do if Hudson liked you?"

"Well, firstly, I'd step back because I know you like him. Secondly, he's not my type. I don't see him like that. I mean, he's good-looking and all but not for me."

That was a more detailed reply than expected.

"Thank you. But we have a problem. Hudson told me that he likes you and he convinced me to help him get you." I told her.

"Tell you what, I have a counter plan against that. Every time he asks you about me, for example stuff like 'what's my favourite color' or 'favorite thing to do outside of class', tell him the exact opposite. That will give me a chance to let him down gently."

"Wow, Gena this is actually an okay plan. That could actually work!"

Could her plan really work? What if he notices that I'm lying? He'll probably stop talking to me. Maybe I should tell him the truth so that I have a longer time with him. No, that's a bad idea.

I concluded that Gena's plan was for the best, even though it means waiting a bit longer to get him.

HUDSON POV:

After basketball practice, the boys and I decided to go have lunch. We got our food and went straight to the sitting area.

While we were there, Malcom spotted Gena and Nadia talking and then I decided to go talk to them for a while. As I approached them, I noticed that Gena was wearing her hair down. Her eyes sparkled in the sun. Her beautiful skin glittered as the sun rays hit her. She was a goddess.

I arrived at their table.

"Hey guys, how's it going? It feels like yesterday was when we last talked" I said, daringly.

"It wasn't yesterday." Gena replied sarcastically. "In fact, it was last week! Anyway, I'll go talk to Malcom, Paul and Metawin and I'll let you guys talk for a bit. I'll be back."

She left.

What is wrong with her? Did I say something out of line? Did my presence really bother her that much?

I sat down where Gena sat and started talking to Nadia.

"What's wrong with her?" I asked.

"She's being her sarcastic self. I don't see any changes in her behavior."

"Wow, okay, uhm... Since you agreed to help me, could you share a little more about her with me? Her favourite colors and favorite food would help."

"Gena likes dark colors and fast food restaurants like KFC and MacDonald's." she said with a grin.

"Well, okay... I'll try asking her to hangout this weekend and I'll take her to MacDonald's if she agrees."

"Uhm.. okay, uh... Could I come with?"

"Why?"

"I don't know, I just feel like-"

"I'm sure my friend Paul would like to come too so I'll invite him over to keep you company."

"Great!" she said, cheerfully.

I hope Gena actually agrees to the hangout or, honestly, I have no other idea unless I get more info out of Nadia. She just has to say yes.

"Anyway, I have to go back to my friends. Was nice talking to you!" I said while standing up and walking away.

"Bye Hudson!".

Gena instinctively said goodbye to my friends and she gave me a side look as she passed by me. I don't think that's anything I should worry about. After all, she was not a bad person.

I sat down with my friends.

"So how'd it go?" asked Win.

"It went well actually. Nadia suggested I ask her out for a date after she told me some information about her. I'll take her to MacDonald's this weekend. I need one of you to come with me since Nadia wants to be there too."

"Why does she want to be there too?" questioned Malcom.

"I don't know, but one of you has to come with. So who will it be?"

"I'll come with." said Paul. "I just hope it ends well because I've taken too many losses for you, dude."

"No worries, bro." I remarked.

I just hope Nadia's suggestion actually works out because, again, that's all I have. I need to plan this out nicely so it doesn't fail.
