This was my chance to run. Into the forest, behind my building.
They were chasing me, all four of them. I kept running as fast as I could. I was wearing a black palazzo and a simple white sleeveless top. They did not shoot me before because other people in the society would have heard it. But now, we were in a deep forest and I was in a huge trouble.
The bald guy with the gun shot a bullet. This was the first time I heard a gun shot. It was terrible; one of the loudest thing I've ever heard. The worst part was that I was the target of the bullet. Thank god it missed me. But the first bullet was never the last.
He again shot a bullet, again and again. Thanks to the dark environment that all his bullets missed the target.I was pleased when I suddenly noticed a big tree trunk. I sat behind it and covered myself with bushes as fast as I could.
"This way! This way! Hurry!" I heard their footsteps, and in minutes, all of them were gone.I was shivering. I was scared to death. When I heard the first bullet, I was convinced that it's my last day. The fear was unbearable. Every second was much more scarier than the last. I knew they would surely kill me. I mean they don't have any reason for not killing me. Afterall I'm the only witness of their crime.
My life has changed in just a few minutes. My parents would still be asleep, totally unaware of me. I can't believe my situation. Tears are just not stopping from my eyes. What am I supposed to do now? I don't know where to go, I just don't have any idea. My only option is that right now is that I should spend my night here, hiding myself and waiting for the morning.
