Imperfect

It's a cool and a gloomy morning. The clouds look as if they would start raining any moment. We were at the edge of the jungle when I finally figured out where we are. This is a town covered with forest at both it's ends. I'm on the other end. Another end leads to my house.

"Harm, listen to me carefully. Take this scarf. Cover yourself. You need to hide yourself. Stay behind me all the time. And you are already smart enough for the rest" he said as I nodded.

The sky was growing darker and darker. The cool breez tickled my neck as we entered the store.
"What's up Chis!" Alec waved at the only guy in the store. Now it's totally clear that Chris knows about me and he is supporting Alec and me in all this.

"Yo!" Chris took out his headphones from his ears and rested them on his neck. Chris is a thin guy with orange hairs and big bown glasses infront of his bright green eyes. He settled his glasses and waved at me. I waved him back.
Then he started talking to Alec as I went around the store taking my "girl's necessary stuffs" and some clothes. I don't know why but there is something different about Chris.
"Alec, would you mind coming here for a second" I called him. He came close to me.

"Is Chris --"

"Yeah he's a gay" Alec confirmed my doubt. I know I'll sound stupid if I'll say that I was feeling jealous when Chris was standing near Alec and talking to him. But yes, I did feel jealous."He was telling about Jace, his boyfriend, who will soon be visiting him in the coming days. Chris is way too excited" thank god! Alec is totally mine. Okay, okay, I know I can't have him but still, until I'm with him he has only me. How sweet!
Ugh! I hate this sweet mood of mine. I'm too lame in all this. I never even kissed a guy. Except for one. I don't count it because: (a) it was one gross kiss and (b) both of us were seven years old.

"Alec! They are here!"  Chris freaked out of a second. Alec held my hand and took me to the counter where Chris was standing. I spotted Shaun and Carter coming towards the store. Chris gave me a hand and I jumped on the other side of the counter and then he cover me with some boxes and his jacket.

"Hey Alec! How are you doing?" I heard Shaun speaking. I've heard his voice before on the night when they first chased me.

"Okay I guess. By the way, did you guys found the girl we have been looking for?" Wow great Alec! He is trying to find out how safe we are by trying to know their knowledge about me.

"Nah..still looking for her. We have been spying all the phones I the town with the help of our new hacker Simon. If she contacts anyone in her house, we will find out. Anything related to her on any phone and she is gone. So basically phones are of no use for her" Shaun competed his sentence and had his cruel laugh. They didn't even leave phones for me. Now I get it, that's the reason Alec didn't contact anyone in my house.
Carter was way too silent today. Shaun talked a little more and then both Shaun and Carter grabbed some bear from the store. Instead of paying the money to Chris they punched him on his head "how is you mother loser, still missing her fucking son?" They said as they left.

"Thankyou Chris" I climbed off the counter to get to the exit.
"There is no time to talk. Hurry, get yourself out of here. And no need to pay. I'll take it some other day. Now hurry and get yourself at a safe place" he said. Alec held the bag with the stuffs and gave Chris a two finger salute as we stepped out of the store.
